"Amazing water and castle views. So pretty. Rooms are basic, but very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff could not have been more welcoming. Pool is clean, and overlooks water. Hotel works with tour boats, so ask about discounts on wonderful two-hour two-nation boat tour. At very least, a visit to Boldt Castle is a must."

"Basic clean room. Staff is only present during the daytime. Pricey on the Holiday weekend. Close walk to downtown. Good parking. Toilets dont flush very well. Rusty faucets on bathtub. Boat and fishing dock. We stay every year."

"Beautiful old estate home of George Boldt carefully moved from Hart Island across the ice to to Wellesley Island to make way for Boldt Castle. Surrounded by golf course and Marina. Nicely decorated large rooms with ensuites. Large common areas including ball room, library, living room. Excellent breakfast. Relaxing."

"I booked the least expensive room which turned out to have a view of the top of the overhang of the building. The room had a window with a curtain that smelled so bad I was afraid to open it for fear it would spread it’s funk throughout the room. The window which looked like I could have opened it was covered in filth and dead bugs. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave worked well. Breakfast was a basic carb fest. If you like to eat cereal and bread you are in luck! The restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday, the 2 nights that I was there. To be fair the property is beautiful. It’s on the river with lots of places to sit and enjoy views of the river. All in all it was disappointing."
