This is a special place on earth, and Maria is a wonderful hostess and owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She prepares farm-to-table fare that is delicious. However, we were visiting in March, and at that time of the year the options for a vegetarian is rather limited. Other than that, which is certainly understandable, this was a great place to relax, unwind, snowshoe, and ski (rentals in Tromso).

There was free coffee / tea available by the reception all day, a very nice touch in the cold. The sauna in the central building is spacious and convenient. Accommodations excellent, 2 comfortable bedrooms, one bathroom, living dining area with a kitchenette: fridge, dishwasher, cooktop, no microwave. We had a washing machine too.
We were a family of 9 and had 3 rooms (better called apartments) and they were very comfortable indeed.
Staff went out of their way to help us when ordering food upon our arrival.
Breakfast was included at the hotel and it was amazing.
We all loved our stay. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, with a spectacular breakfast! We had a small issue with our room view, as a bridge completely obstructed it, but the staff did their best to help. Although the hotel was fully booked, they offered us an alternative room and, ultimately, a lovely spa treat as a gesture of goodwill. We truly appreciated their kindness and effort.
