“There has been a lot of investment in the hotel over the years & most of it very effectively invested. As in so many hotels we found the continuing use of a heavy duvet in a warm summer something that we cannot understand. I spoiled our stay. Too hot to use & too cold to do without. We find the same problem in so many hotels. It shows little regard for the customer as management must surely know that "one size does NOT fit all" when it comes to the seasonal changes in night time...

“The pub is charming but very, very loud and our room opened out to the courtyard. The room was very hot because it faced the sun and the day was bright, so we needed to open the window and then had a lot of pub noise. The en suite bath was tiny but operational. On the plus side, the staff were super friendly and helpful and despite a busy evening, they managed to seat us so we could eat. The food as good too both for dinner and breakfast.”

“Loved the town and loved the unit. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was warm and comfortably large. Parking was a nice benefit, for sure. Everything is right downstairs in the pub/restaurant or right outside the door in the quaint neighborhood. This is a great place in the heart of a fun and friendly town. Loved it.”
