“Pictures do not do this gem of a place justice. Check in was a breeze, the pub is quirky, but the accommodation was fantastic, quiet, comfortable and clean....all wrapped up in a 300 year old stone building. Such a beautiful spot, probably our fave and would love to return.”

“The whole unit was exactly as described and expected. Self contained with kettle, fridge and microwave(bonus!). Lovely quiet village area. Very comfortable bed and great ensuite bathroom with excellent and powerful shower cubicle. An optional help yourself breakfast facility is a new concept which we didnt use this time, but thought a great idea. We would definitely stay again as the price is very competitive. One small suggestion would be for a choice of some deeper pillows maybe?”

“This guest house was superbly clean, comfortable and warm. Travelled with two other adults and had a spacious room which could easily have taken 4. We were welcomed by Lucy who instantly made us feel at home in Green Haven and the local area. Short distance from the town centre and theatre. Although on a main road was surprisingly quiet. Highly recommend it. Will definitely return. ”

“Unfortunately the duvet had a very bad odor. I tried putting a towel over it but still could smell a very bad stench. Thankfully flipping the head side and feet side worked. It was jus a night so didn’t bother telling the staff. The staff was very courteous and tried to be helpful. ”

“I arrived just before 6pm to find my room wasn’t ready, so I waited in the bar. When I finally got in, the room was okay but lacked basic in‑room amenities—there were no cups or kettle, as these are kept in a separate kitchen, which was sparsely stocked. Although I knew the bathroom was shared, I was surprised there was no sink in the room. There were also cobwebs that hadn’t been cleaned, and the door didn’t feel secure; it kept banging in the wind overnight until I wedged it shut. Breakfast...
