별로에요
사진만 보고 선택했는데 실제는 복층 구조라 불편했어요. 가장 저렴한 가격을 선택해서 그런것 같네요. 가격대별로 사진이 있어야 될듯 하네요. 건물은 노후되어 있고요. 경치는 볼만해요. 저는 별로였어요 다음에는 다른 호텔로 갈거에요.

1. 위치: 왓포사원 5분 내, 방콕 왕궁 10분 거리에 있고 스위트룸일 (자스민방 투숙) 경우 왓아룬뷰가 가능하다 2.조식 음식 괜찮음: 바에 있는 간단한 메뉴뿐 아니라 따로 시켜 먹을 수 있음 3.웰컴 드링크 쿠폰으로 레지던스 내 바에서 먹거나 옆 건물 the deck 루프탑바에서 마실 수 있음 4. 친절한 직원들 : 체크인 시간 전 미리 짐 맡겨두고 관광 후 돌아오니 직접 캐리어를 미리 방 안에 다 갖다 놔줌 5.넓고 쾌적하고 깨끗한 방 / 수압 좋고 따뜻한 물도 잘 나옴 / 방 온도 조절 가능 6. 7월 2째주 기준으로 공사중인지 아침부터 시끄러움 / 방음이 잘 안 되는 편 7. 숙소 내 웬만한 물건들 다 있음 (슬리퍼 목욕가운 샴푸 바디워시 옷걸이 ) 간단한 손 씻을 비누는 없음

멋진 뷰를 가진 숙소!
왓포 사원 바로 앞으로 구시가지 가까이 있어서 왓포, 왓아룬, 왕궁 돌아보기에 위치가 최적이었습니다. ARUN SUITE 방을 이용했는데, 침대에 누워서 왓아룬 뷰를 즐길 수 있어서 너무 좋았어요. 굳이 이글 네스* 등의 다른 바를 갈 필요 없이 편의점에서 맥주사다가 테라스 의자에서 앉아서 보는 게 꿀이었습니다. 강 변이라 약간 꿉꿉한 느낌은 있었지만, 에어컨 틀면 괜찮았어요. 나무와 오래된 느낌을 싫어하시는 분들은 싫어하실 수도 있겠지만, 저는 굉장히 만족했어요. 조식은 기대할만한 수준이 전혀 안되어서 그냥 끼니 채우는 용도로 생각하시거나, 근처 카페들가서 식사하시면 좋을 것 같아요. 하지만, 직원들은 굉장히 친절하답니다~ 방콕에는 멋지고 새로된 숙소들이 많지만, 올드타운에서 이런 멋진 뷰를 가진 약간은 오래된 호텔에서 묵는 것도 좋을 것 같아요. 추천합니다!

여행 후기랑은 차이가 많은 듯요... 좁고 거울도 드라이기도 비누도 없고 호텔이라고 하기엔... 조식은 나름 괜찮았어요 종류는 적어도 맛이 있었어요.. 추천하고 싶지 않아요...

Nice location. Very nice room. The hotel is very unique, and a nice place for our first days in thailand. The restaurant and bar are very good with a fabulous view of Wat Arun.

Arun Residence used to be a quiet, quaint boutique hotel on the river. That was 10 or so years ago. The area is now very busy and the building has been substantially redeveloped. Now, the hotel is almost a sideline to the restaurant and bar extending over 4 levels which attract many outside patrons.The accommodation is still good with each unit providing comfortable accommodation spread over several levels - although the stairs, banisters and balustrades in the units would raise safety concerns in many countries. The restaurant food is good and the staff were generally attentive. The view across the river to Wat Arun is a highlight.

Great location!
We had a beautiful view of Wat Arun from directly across the river. The breakfast was made to order with a good variety of Western and Asian options. The room was large and comfortable. The roof top bar was a great place to unwind and enjoy the view. Additionally, the lodging is within easy walking distance to some of the sites, a metro station and ferry dock.

Great New Years Eve Spot
The hotel staff were lovely. They let us our room 2 hours early on New Years Eve. They also had a rooftop party that we were included in for no extra charge. The view of War Arun was magical. We did have a loft bedroom with the bathroom downstairs, there was mot much of a railing and if you were unsteady in the night it felt a bit precarious. All was great !

ワットアルン対岸の雰囲気のあるホテル
ワットアルンの景色を部屋から見たくて、アルンスイートに宿泊しました。 お部屋にはテラスもあったので、ゆったりお茶やビール飲みながら夕日や夜景を心ゆくまで楽しめました。 ホテルはフロントからお部屋に繋がる階段、お部屋の中の至る所までインテリアが凝っていて私はどツボでした。 エレベーターがない、エアコンの音が少し大きいなど、新しい建物や最新の設備ではありませんが、雰囲気があります。 中心地からは少し遠いですが、延長されたブルーラインの駅も徒歩圏内、ホテルの裏はワットポー、ワットアルン側に渡る船着き場も近くと観光にも思ったより不便ありませんでした。 バンコクとしてはお値段高い方だと思いますが、ウエルカムドリンクはホテル上のバーでカクテルジュースをフリーで一杯、朝食はホテル併設の人気レストランのTHE DECKでオーダーバイキングでタイ料理、洋式も食べ放題だったので、別のホテルに泊まってここのレストランやバーに景色を見に来ていたら、別の出費になってたかと思うとお得だったかなと感じました。

We make a mistake book the room with Arun residence from 19-21 September to 19-21 October. On 19 September I try to contact Expedia many times to cancel but today (10/22/19) I receive email back from Arun Residence and Expedia that they can’t give me back my money or credit me anything. We Nee been to this hotel yet but this bad experience shows me how greedy they are and I will not do any business with this hotel in the future again. Also Expedia can’t help me with anything but get me full charge of booking! Agoda will get the business from me from now on.

I love the rooftop bar, and restaurant, and location. My room smelled so bad i could hardly stand it. A horrible stench was coming from the shower drain. I never c9nplain but this was the worst smell I ever smelled.

Worth for money
Excellent room but reception has a cat on the counter. Great view but there is a bar on the top floor so it made noisy moving chairs and tables on the second night. Terrible for that second night. I had to throw two chairs on the balcony to make them stop moving things around on my head.

The location is perfect. There is a bar called Amorosa, with amazing view to Wat Arun, just above the room. The staff is not very helpful. The breakfast is very good though. Would stay again.

Great riverside location and views!
We really enjoyed our stay at Arun Residence. The staff were very friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable. We had a wonderful view across to Wat Arun. The bar has great views and is a good spot for a drink before heading out to eat nearby or get a tuk tuk to Chinatown or other neighbourhoods.

Le charme de l'authentique
Chambre duplex originale avec le cachet de l'ancien. Attention aux poutres assez basses et l'escalier en bois un peu raide et glissant (le charme de l'authentique !). Insonorisation pas top. Vue sur le fleuve et temple super. Excellent petit dejeuner.

Thin walls, poor wifi, great venue
This is a boutique hotel, so it comes with those kinds of quirks. You're not going to get perfect concierge service, or staff that are able to do everything. But you're going to get a nice quiet location with a great view. If you want to do business you may want to look elsewhere. The WiFi needs a complete re-build and was unusable to me every evening I was in the hotel. (The hotel did apologize and offer a discount on my stay) The walls and wooden floors carry noise from the other rooms, the rooftop bar and the neighbors. So be prepared if you are a light sleeper. I was woken at dawn by someone beating on the doorbell next door and the family stomping around their apartment. I'm also unclear if the building and rooms have ever dried out. After 2 separate stays I've returned home to find all my clothes feel slightly damp. But perhaps you can't do much with a house over the river in Bangkok. Like others have noted, the A/C is inscrutable, there seems to be no way to change the fan speed, it's just "blow hard" if the A/C is on. All in all it leaves me conflicted about the location. I really want to keep staying here, but not if I have to get work done while I'm at the hotel.

Spectacular view and quiet neighborhood
This is a very charming hotel with loads of authenticity (squeaky floorboards, fainted photos), which is well kept, clean and comfortable. The view of Wat Arun is spectacular! Mornings and evenings spend on the balcony or terrace overlooking the river are really nice ways to start/end the day in Bangkok. Very quiet neighborhood... you only hear the river boats - no cars! And spitting distance from Grand Palace, Wat Pho and (of course) Wat Arun. There are a few good restaurants around, but not a lot and no evening street activity to speak of in the vicinity, so if that’s your thing look elsewhere (the flower market is in walking distance). Easy access to the river transport from the river crossing one block down the street.

あさひに映えるワットアルンを自室のバルコニーから堪能
チャオプラヤー川を挟んだ対岸にはワットアルンと言う絶好のロケーションに在り 夕日の中にたたずめアルン、朝日に照らされるアルン、ライトアップされたアルン、 と、一日の中で何度も表情を変えるワットアルンを堪能出来ます。 スウィートの予約でしたがArun Haveliにアップグレードして頂き、 1階のレストランも何を食べても美味しく、最高の滞在と成りました。

Kleine Oase am Flußufer des Chayo Praya
Was für eine schöne Oase in dieser Stadt! Eine kleine englische Villa in kolonialem Stil mit asiatischem Flair. Großartig! Direkt am Fluß mit Blick auf Wat Arun, dem Tempel der Morgenröte :-) Von der OpenAir Frühstücksterasse taucht man praktisch in das pralle Leben am Fluß ein! Die Lage ist schnell zu schätzen, denn auch der große liegende Buddha im Wat Pho ist von hier in zehn Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ich war nach zwei Jahren wieder in diesem sehr angenehm kleinen schicken Hotel und alles ist so schön geblieben! Die Nachtbar auf dem Deck mit Blick zum Wat Arun rüber in den heißen Nächten in Bangkok mit einem kühlen Drink bietet alles was man braucht - Toll! Ideal für 3-4 Tage.
