Great hotel with friendly staff

We had a great stay. The staff was really friendly and our hotel room was clean and held a high standard. We really enjoyed the pool as well, but the view from the pool was nothing to brag about. We were also a bit disappointed that the sauna and steam rooms were gender divided, were women only had a steam room and men only had a sauna. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again.

Sadly all the outside areas (the swimming pool and rooftop terrace/bar) were closed for our stay no doubt due to earthquake damage. Our bathroom also let in rainwater (again no doubt due to the earthquake). The Ascott offered the pool at the Urbana next door by way of compensation but that hotel is very tired and a little run down. The staff at the Ascott were tremendous, very professional and super helpful. They even allow you to call for pick up from Silom Complex if you’re an ASR member — perfect during the storms and torrential downpours we experienced during our stay.

We loved our stay at the Ascott. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in the premier apartment which was very comfortable, clean and modern. The breakfast was good, however some of the food wasn’t hot and the selection could have been better.

We had a great experience in this property. Very spacious apt, joined rooms making a 2 bedroom apt with everything we needed as a family of tree with teenager. Food in the hotel was very good, rare sometimes in hotels. We used the gym, sauna, steam room, pool, lounge, room service, and everything fantastic. Location also very convenient and safe area. And you have good places to eat around, recommend Luka and Bartels.

Super cool and modern property, amazing swimming pool and lounge area (plus playroom for the kids) in a high rise and nice part of town. Lovely staff. The only downside is the room said for 4 people but there were three beds- we only needed the room for the day so it wasn’t a big deal but would have been an issue for an overnight
