We stay here every time we are in Bangkok

We love this hotel, we have stayed many times in the past, the rooms are spacious, clean and up to date. The staff are very helpful. The location is great but at night it is peaceful. Great pool.

Comfortable and friendly hotel

This is my second visit. It is not far from Nana Station, so transportation is convenient. There are entertainment districts nearby, so it's okay if you want to travel like that. The room is spacious and the swimming pool is easy to use.

Nice Quiet Hotel with Smoking Rooms near food!

Dynasty Grande is one of my favourite hotels to stay at when I'm in Bangkok. It's a 3 minute walk from the BTS, it's along a quiet alley way, and the short cut from soi 8 to 4 allows you to skip the craziness on soi 4 while still being near all the amazing street food vendors and late night restaurants (check out L-Seven near by across Ibis for some good food and drinks!). It's one of the few hotels in Bangkok that still have smoking rooms available (it's hit or miss now). Make sure that you book a smoking room if you need one as they are quite strict on smoking in non smoking rooms. Internet is pretty fast and reliable as well - which makes this hotel a great cheap place to stay on a working holiday.

Pros - The room was large, the bed was big and comfortable, the wifi was good, the staff were helpful, the location was excellent (walk 1-3 mins to access Soi 4, Soi 8 and Sukhumvit Rd), close to BTS station, close access to numerous restaurants, bars, massages, street food. Cons - Fridge was small with no freezer (annoyance to me as I stayed there for 2 weeks and like to fill fridge with fruits and ice creams), air-con stopped working several times requiring external resets - and when it did work it was very cold, the TV had very limited channels (again I was there for 2 weeks and like to chill out watching TV between explorations), not a lot of storage area for clothes. Overall a good hotel that felt fresh and modern, however the cons were significant to me (probably not so significant to many others).
