It’s an older property but so well located if you are visiting the Bumrungrad hospital. Fantastic staff who go out of their way to help and ensure you are well taken care of. Always friendly and provides service with a smile. The golf cart to the hospital was a lifesaver. Will definitely stay again!

Skye is not a 5 star hotel....it is a 3 star that treats you like a 5 star with the price way below anything I have ever stayed at. You can see it rates a 9.2 and it is for this reason and more. In my opinion you cannot find a better hotel for the price in the right area with a shuttle anywhere in Bangkok. It is an older hotel...which means the construction is so sound and strong you do not hear anyone above by the side or below. This means you sleep like a baby. You have a balcony but its a side street so little traffic which again means quiet... I love the cafe amazingly quaint quiet and any coffee you want or a smoothy etc. I really love staying at this hotel and the staff are a delight and the owner is wonderful.

Staff is super friendly and helpful and speaks English, when I lost hot water twice they had it fixed within 5 minutes both times. Central location is awesome, great value. Nice cafe and restaurant. Free shuttle to Sukhumvit Road is awesome; take advantage. Just be sure to negotiate price with the laundry business if you get laundry done at any of the places nearby!

I stayed in the executive room. The room was snug but clean and the bed was comfortable. I didn't like the shower because it kept falling down and drainage was poor which led to water leaking out into the bedroom. They cleaned it up really quick and I was careful not to take long showers. I found the location to be very convenient for my purpose which is that its close to Bumrungrad hospital and they have a buggy to take you there. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and they made excellent eggs to order. Breakfast included rice, steamed vegetables, some kind of thai curry, chicken sausage and bacon, cut up fruits, a salad bar, white and whole wheat, pancakes or waffles, soup, samosas or spring rolls and black tea or coffee. They also had orange juice and milk. Sometimes they had lemon infused water and bael infused water. If I had to nitpick, I often found that the reception staff had a hard time speaking english. Sometimes there were some young people who were fluent in english but over all I had a hard time. But as far as hotels go, it was good. It was good.
