“Next to the Boardwalk”

“The best part of this hotel is its location. The staff is friendly and helpful but the rooms are tiny and no tea/coffee facilities. The parking is very challenging: just go to the parking by the bus stop and hope for the best. Breakfast is very good. Their restaurant with the great views is good but overpriced. The “ aile of raie” ( ray flapper) was OK but for 10 euros cheaper it was MUCH better in Chinon. No great view though…”

“A historic building very well situated in the main square. Room quite adequate . Minor issue with one of the bathroom taps but staff dealt with it. Reasonably priced car park behind the hotel.”

“Rien à redire, tout était parfait !”

“A nice place to stay if you are in this region.”

“A lovely old house in a secluded village in Normandy, with a few spacious rooms that have been tastefully refurbished. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is good, although I would have preferred it to be served a little earlier. The one area that could be improved is the amenities, which are almost non-existent. There was no soap, no shampoo, and very little else provided in the room. Nevertheless, the overall experience was very positive and pleasant. The location...

“Historic chateau. Spacious room. Lovely breakfast included. Parking available”

“I gave this hotel a five-star rating in every category without hesitation. I can honestly say that this is one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in. No detail is left unattended, no question by staff or request unanswered, no disappointment in food quality, and obviously, no maintenance deferred in the facility or spacious grounds and rooms. This is a sign of outstanding management and careful selection of staff. I heartily recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to get away from the...
