We had a delightful stay at the Hearthside Inn for our 4-day, 3-night visit to Bar Harbor/Acadia. The inn was immaculate and cozy, the innkeeers were warm and helpful, and the food was delicious (particularly all the well-stocked homemade treats). The inn was off a quiet street but centrally-located to all the best of Bar Harbor. The only small inconvenience was that the old structure has walls on the thin side and if youโre a light sleeper, you may hear your neighbors get up for a sunrise outing at 4am. These are the sort of things I expect at a B&B; however, if this sort of thing bothers you, you might consider staying at one of their sister properties: the Pathmaker Hotel (an adorable boutique hotel which looked delightful) or the Anchorage Motel. I would 100% stay here again! We enjoyed every moment.
