Home away from home

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with places to eat and buy groceries. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. We immediately felt at home. We would definitely stay here again.

The accommodation was super nice and you could reach everything on foot. The bus station and train station are a 20-minute walk away. The description of the accommodation says Shuttle Bus Airport, but this refers to the buses at the railway station. It is very difficult to get a taxi.

- very busy area, many many cars, but good parking garage 10m from front door - large rooms and kitchen - air conditioner did not work on first and hot night, clerk claimed he fixed it while we were out on second day - it was not fixed; after several calls and a repairman visit they moved us to another room (a very poor sleep the first night, time to deal with the repairman and move our belongings, and then the other apartments air conditioning barely worked) - no apology, no comp. - bottom line, big apartment, OK if you need to be in Bari, tired facilities, below average help

Wonderful Stay

Very nice place. Really appreciated the kitchen and available cookware. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Neighborhood is fairly quiet at night. Place is a reasonable walk from the train station. Only real disadvantage is you are pretty far from the main center of Bari, Oldtown and most of the restaurants. It's about a 30 minute walk, so not bad. Front desk isn't 24 hours, so make sure you contact them before checking in.

Reasonable apartment/hotel in Bari

Good spacious room with basic kitchen facilities to a good standard. 20 minute walk from the main station and 30 minutes from the old town. Good base for exploring Bari and fairly close to restaurants.

We stayed at the Visa residence on two separate occasions one on way to join cruise ship. We found the person in reception extremely helpful although she spoke little English. The reception is not manned 24 hrs but will arrange a arrival time with you. They ordered taxis for us and indicated what we should pay (13 euros to port and 25 euros to airport).Although not in best location it’s great for short stays and reasonably priced. There is a pizza shop just over road and a very nice and friendly cafe Cavalier about three blocks down. Should we return to Italy we would definitely stay there again.👍

Pleasant enough for short stay

Stayed for one week. Very easy journey from airport, four stops costing €5 on Metro, then a simple seven minute walk to hotel. Check in was efficient and friendly. We had a studio apartment on ground floor at front of hotel. The rooms were basic, very spacious and clean. Functional for all basic needs. Plenty of storage. Television was small and did not have any English speaking channels. We had a problem with the hot water, boiler and electricity on our first morning. The problem was quickly resolved as soon as we notified reception. Two negatives with this particular room is the noise from the road in front and the plumbing in the bathroom smelled foul. The property has a nice, quiet rooftop garden. Opposite the hotel is a pizza shop (we did not enjoy the pizza), a bakery (did not use) and a supermarket which appears to have closed down. There are three other supermarkets on the same road all within easy walking distance. The property is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Old Town and tourist hot spots, a little longer to the beach. Ideal for a short stay.

Clean, convenient and good value for money

Clean, convenient and good value for money. Relatively quiet although the road outside can get busy after 8am. Friendly reception staff (don't speak much English). The apartment was roomy, very clean and perfect for what we wanted. About 30min walk into the historical centre.
