"Clean and well-organized environment. Very friendly staff & rooms with electronic locks * *(eliminating the need for key cards – you just leave and the door closes automatically, only a code is needed) were a pleasant surprise. I was also pleasantly surprised to find a first-aid kit in the room. Each room is equipped with a fire extinguisher and evacuation plans. There is an elevator, a swimming pool, and a TV with screen mirroring capabilities directly from your phone, both in the bedroom and the living room. We highly recommend it! & wish everyone a pleasant stay!"

"Property was clean and well-maintained. The rooms were a bit unremarkable, very plain. I had expected them to be a little more luxurious. But they were perfectly fine and did not detract from the overall experience. We ate in several of the restaurants and the food in all of them was excellent. The wonderful coffee shop was a nice bonus. Great coffee and a wonderful selection of food items. It was great to grab a quick breakfast there without having to go sit down at the restaurant. The beach set up was very organized and the chairs were spaced out enough that you didn't feel like you were right on top of your neighbor. The service was wonderful, and the staff seemed eager to serve. I will definitely be returning."

"I like the hotel but for 5 star hotel there should be more options of restaurants. Only one outdoor restaurant with not enough main course options. Other people felt the same way. We stayed last year here and the menu options were much better. "

"Great hotel, with beautiful views. I will say we had an epic fight for towels though and we didn’t see on single staff member the entire stay (over a weekend). If you’re more on the expectant side, I suggest a different location. That being said, I’d go again in heartbeat but I’d bring another towel."

"Staying at Vida was like staying at someone’s gorgeous vacation home. It is small enough that all the staff know you and the culture is to go out of their way to be courteous and helpful. The front desk staff helped us select dinner places, snorkeling places and even provided a beach blanket and snorkel gear. The restaurant has some of the best quality and value on the island- we felt like we were in someone’s kitchen. The yoga instructor was excellent. The room was large and immaculate- the housekeeper arranged our toiletries and coordinated with the front desk when we were eating so they never interrupted our schedule. Our only gripe is the beach isn’t very swimmable because it’s quite rocky and the waves are big- but it is a beautiful walk and you can see the kite surfers. The rooster does start making noise in the morning but we were able to get back to sleep and accept that roosters are a part of the Grand Cayman experience. We loved our stay at VIDA! "
