Convenient, lovely new bathroom, Roku TV and wifi (needed because there is no data service). Fridge and coffee maker. Check in via code, several places to eat nearby. All in all, a great value.

Good location- easy drive to Bethel Woods. Our dog enjoyed his walk to the water. The room was clean but the water in the shower was really weak. Very comfortable bed.

The self service property was clean, had been updated quite recently and the room looked very nice inside. Overall an enjoyable stay. I had issues checking in, but the host came within 10 minutes to assist. Very helpful.

This retro roadside motel is located conveniently - 25 minutes from Bethel Woods - is a bit rundown looking on the outside, but the inside has been spruced up with fresh paint and laminate flooring, fresh linens, extra blankets, sufficient towels and washcloths, minimalist decorating style. The windows have been painted shut but the wall AC unit works great. The room is large, beds are comfortable enough, with large walk-in closet, Roku TV, Coffee bar with complimentary k-cups. Amenities are pretty limited; no front desk or ice machine that I’m aware of, and, no evidence of Hot water at the bathroom sink (we didn’t use the shower, so IDK about that.) I booked through Expedia and received a confirmation email from the property almost immediately, then as promised, received another email with instructions about our room location and the door code for self- check in. I’d recommend this place for it convenient location in Barryville NY, reasonable value, and level of comfort, but with a few suggestions for property management to address the tepid water, and, consider upgrading the window coverings for better light control.

Rooms were stylish and trendy. Some small stains in the tub and on the shower curtain but overall a clean room. The stopper under our door was coming up and one of the sockets looked like it was burnt. Can definitely see where they are making improvements. A lot of clicking at night.

Deceiving but glad we went there!

Nice little place. Room was large with comfortable beds. All we needed for overnight. Deceiving from the outside. Would stay there again. Lex was very nice and helpful. A very nice restaurant is there also.

Lex was amazing!!! Although they had some issues with electric, they were able to accommodate our needs and find another place for us. We enjoyed the food and the layout of the place. Highly recommend this place becuse of your staff! Very friendly staff!!! She is one of the best assets of the hotel!!!

Overall, it was good for what we needed, which was a decent place to stay overnight after a concert. Check in was a little confusing because you actually have to go into the bar/restaurant that’s attached & check in at the bar…..but, there was nothing that tells you that, we just circled the building until we decided we’d go inside & see if they could direct us…..which they did, but it would have been helpful to have some sort of sign that said “check-in.” We watched several people pull up & circle the building because they were just as confused as we were! But, the bar/restaurant that was attached had a very chill vibe with cool bartenders & the food was really good, especially after driving 3 hours! Rooms were cozy for the night…..bed wasn’t super comfortable, but for 1 night, it was ok. The town itself is pretty desolate, so to have a room that also had a bar/restaurant attached was pretty ideal!

A wonderful place! A tastefully decorated clean, big, bright, and airy room with good quality bath products and plenty of towels. The staff were excellent - very responsive and helpful. It was easy to access the room. The bedding was super soft and comfy. Plenty of parking. Nicely situated by the river. A great breakfast option just across the roady the “Hungry Goat” (delicious food). Excellent! Would definitely go back to the Drift House.

No staff available onsite for check-in and check-in instructions were unclear. Staff did not answer the phone when we called the number provided for help. There is no one to ask for extra towels or other amenities. Room was clean enough but smelled strongly of mildew and the windows did not open so there wasn’t a way to air it out without leaving the front door open. The hot water was warm at best. The vanity/mirror in bathroom was mounted so high, I could only see the top of my head. Very hard to get ready for an event this way. Jonie from the neighboring business was unbelievably helpful and very sweet. Overall, it was too expensive given our experience.

My partner and I travel for business from time to time and he and I really enjoyed staying here. It was extremely peaceful and cute with a vintage vibe. The owner Kathy was very helpful and kind. It was also so nice to hear the river from our room and to spend some time in nature. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to get good rest while on our work trip. If we are back in the area we will definitely book here again.

When I arrived, there was no one on site. As a result, I ended up making reservations at a different hotel. I am VERY UNHAPPY with the entire experience. I paid a significant amount of money for the room, and expect I do not qualify for a refund as I did not cancel prior to my arrival. Had I known there would be no one at the hotel I would have cancelled. The picture does not accurately represent how the hotel looks from the road. It was very misleading.
