Just a short ride away from Cartagena, this hotel is in a premium location in Barú. The hotel staff was excellent and food was great. The facilities are superb. A great place to visit and relax.

2 nights-3 days. We missed staying another night. Great for a retreat escapade. Food was delicious. Our bungalow very well equipped with good amenities, private pool, sea view (beautiful sunsets). We enjoyed viewing Saturn, Jupiter and the moon through the telescope at the club house in addition to the bioluminiscent night experience in Cholon.

Wonderful overall experience. Sound proof rooms are a plus. Beautiful view of the ocean from my room. Beach front property and nice pools with hot tubs was great. Breakfast buffet offered various food options. Special thanks to Meredith from housekeeping and Luis who served us during breakfast.

This hotel is great. It's worth the price you pay for it. It met my expectations and goes beyond. The staff is very helpful and nice: Rafa, Leo, Fernanda, Fabiola, etc. The rooms are small but go with the echo friendly concept of the hotel. The delicious breakfast is included and in general, the kitchen or restaurant has a variety of dishes. We stayed in a corner Grand Suite! It was spacious, beautiful, equipped like an apartment, had 2 bathrooms and most of all it had the most amazing views, EVEN FROM THE BATHROOM!!! The property was beautiful and clean. We loved the pool bar and enjoyed sitting poolside listen to the DJ, eating the delicious wings and sipping on a cocktail! Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Their customer service was excellent and the breakfast buffet, wonderful! We were served by Clara several times and she was amazing! I have already recommended it to my friends, and we’ll definitely go back again.

Great choice!

Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family.

SUCH a beautiful place to stay, right in the heart of the walled city. We loved this place so much we wish we had stayed longer! Rooms felt grand, great decor, and rooftop was GREAT! Highly recommend.

This hotel is incredible!! so close to city center and all main attractions in Cartagena . I one hundred percent recommend it, staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast , pool restaurant , carta ajena and rooftop were excellent also so sophisticated. We could not have been happier with Casa Claver Hotel. The hotel is a small beautiful boutique hotel located in the walled city. The hotel is so pretty. We stayed in a large suite with 2 bedrooms plus a loft. Our room had a washer/dryer and full kitchen (which added to the convenience). We were served a delicious breakfast every morning in our room. It was a wonderful stay from start to finish. Service was incredible, food delicious, rooms amazing. Only downside was that I didn’t think to bring bug repellent. Mosquitos were bad early am and evening so we were unable to use our balcony at all and had to get out of the pool by 5:00pm. This was in November at the end of rainy season, so it makes sense that there were mosquitos, just an oversight on my part. Hope this tidbit helps someone be better prepared.

Fantastic experience! Staff was incredibly helpful, reaching out before the trip to coordinate shuttle service from the airport. Staff was incredibly resourceful and willing to go the extra mile. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cartagena.

Gorgeous spot on a private beach in Baru, highly recommend for a romantic and quiet getaway. Super attentive staff, beautiful rooms, and the grounds were also lovely. We had the entire place to ourselves for a night!

My recent stay at the Hotel Casa Don Luis By Faranda Boutique in Cartagena was truly wonderful. The hotel was exceptionally clean, which made for a very comfortable and pleasant environment.
