No internet connection after several attempts are no avail. No ice bucket and have to ask staff for a bag of ice. Overall, bed is clean and quiet areas which are helpful for a good night sleep. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

The guest room was worn and tattered, cushions were stained and nasty. Peeling paint, hole in the wall water/mold stains. Beds were lumpy. There is no security, no card needed to enter thru unlocked back door. People hanging out and smoking weed. HVAC was loud. TV remote did not work. Room was clean. Carpet is new. I saw no evidence of bug infestation

Don't expect a fancy hotel with this one. It is somewhat run down. Some door handles were broken, baseboards and carpets messed up, bathroom with rusty ceiling. The rooms are spacious and the staff were great. The breakfast included was a grab-and-go breakfast bar with cereal, granola bars, fruit, and donuts. There is nothing hot for breakfast. Make sure you look at the Palm Island Waterpark hours. It's advertised in the name, but it was only opened for a few hours on the weekend when we came in the summer, so we didn't get to do it.

Don’t Stay at This Establishment

The room was clean and the furniture was old. The carpets throughout the hotel were clean but dingy. I was on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken and hadn’t been repaired since 2024. There were open guest rooms next to mine. The price included breakfast which was mediocre. Needless to say I have doubts staying at another Quality Inn

stay literally anywhere else

upon arrival i thought we must be at the wrong place… it’s nothing like the photos online. extremely rundown, and quite frankly scary. we witnessed a drug deal in the parking lot while unloading our bags from the car. and when we got to our room, we had to turn right around and leave because there was a cockroach right on the wall. NOT family friendly and not safe for kids. we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. only positive was that the staff was understanding and rectified the situation.

Not the best hotel but it will do

The hotel itself was fairly clean. The heat didn't work all the time. Other than the check in didn't really see hotel staff until we checked out. The hotel was quiet. I did like that there was a refrigerator and microwave. The refrigerator was iced over but it was still working. The microwave was not working properly we finally got it to work. If you are planning a short trip then it is ok for that. No more than a couple of days. The check in was easy and the counter person was friendly. I snowed heavily and the parking lot was not plowed.

The staff was friendly at check in. Our initial room smelled stong of cigarette smoke and we were ungraded to a larger room. Upon entry we noticed suspicious stains on furniture, busted bathroom door and handle, water damage, COCKROACHES, and 3 times staff walked into our room with out knocking at different hours of the day. Continental breakfast was a joke, the wifi and the phone didnt work at all. We had no choice but to stay but we were disgusted and uncomfortable.

Deplorable conditions

No toilet paper or holder for any in bathroom, phone supplied in room didn’t work to call and request any. When at front desk was just handed 2 rolls for me to carry to room. Also no coffee maker in room but packets of sugar, cream and stir stick. No ice holder or any ice on floor requested some while at desk. 2 hrs later used cell to call desk and request some which was delivered immediately. Ceiling located above shower was water stained, cobwebs and rust. Immediately upon entering room socks became wet from carpet in many spots. Only plus was staff were all very friendly, professional and willing to help. Had water park view from room but windows were so filthy and disgusting made me keep curtains closed. My opinion is not based on staff but management for selling rooms at any cost to turn a $$. Sadly the hotel is huge and it’s a shame guests only find out deplorable conditions after checking in could be a great place with easy access to major roads if not for cutting costs on maintenance and their emphasis on higher bottom dollar . Run down out dated water park seems to be the claim to fame

The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel building itself needs some repairs. In our room alone, the phone had been removed from the wall and no replacement phone in the room, the molding around the bathroom mirror was falling off, and when you sat on the pull out couch you sank all the way down into the mattress springs. There was no other chair to sit in. There was no coffee maker although the sugar/creamer packets, cups and coffee packets for use in the machine were neatly placed on the counter. But our biggest disappointment was that the waterpark and pool were closed on the days we stayed. It was why we chose that hotel. So we went home with some very disappointed children.

Let me start by saying the staff were quite nice so this review is in no way a reflection on them. The only positive thing I can say is the bed was clean, not comfortable, but clean. The room was stuffy and the AC only went to 74 and leaked onto the carpet so of course all you smell is damp carpet. Only two lamps in the whole room so it was dark. Bathroom layout was TIGHT! Had to straddle the toilet if I wanted to close the door. Rust stain in tub, no stopper in tub(had my grandchildren so need to be able to do a bath) and no washcloths at all. Cracked walls and stucco ceilings that have seen better days. Breakfast was seriously lacking. Cold cereal and breakfast bars served on a counter in the lobby. Some attention to the basic needs of this hotel are needed. I’ve been here before for conferences so I know it can be better, someone just has to care.

This hotel is in bad need of a renovation. The hallways were dark and dingy. The entrance to our room from the outside was not secure. Anyone could have walked in.
