"Nick at the front desk was very friendly. The staff was nice. The room was updated. The sheets were fresh and crisp. The floor was a bit dirty though which could be improved. Other than that, it’s fine for a budget stay."

"Beautiful location and convenient for getting to SoFi Stadium and the airport. Steep hill down to the beach which is the perfect workout coming back up. Beautiful swim-able beach and beach towels are provided by hotel. Surrounding restaurants & cafe’s are all good especially the breakfast place next door to the hotel and pizza place down the street. My room faced the back alley but had a lovely view of a blooming cactus tree and lovely homes. Room was ok and clean but moldy smell is apparent. I was able to open the window and along with overhead fan the smell diminished a bit. Bathroom was ok & clean but a coat of paint on the walls & door is needed. All in all a lovely old-school California place to stay, much better than a corporate hotel near the airport."

"Great view of the ocean from our room. Room came with kitchen and large tv. The room was recently remodeled. No AC however it was cool with the ocean breeze. They were accommodating of our pet. Very close to pier, lots of restaurants and coffee shops."
