Hotel was great and amenities was helpful . Close to hospital, which is what we needed for a family surgery. Clean and staff was very helpful. You must ask to get sheets changed daily and towels replaced. Enjoyed my stay.

I've visited a few hotels in my life. I've seen the new ones and the "older" ones. This hotel was being upgraded/remodeled. So I was nervous. But..I don't know why I was b/c this hotel was one of the best ones I've visited! Even w/the remodeling going on. The Staff was THE BEST! Yes, it's an older hotel but when I tell you CLEAN!! It was clean! Going forward I'll be on the lookout for this Hotel. I can't wait til the remodeling is finished now. Do yourself a favor and just book. This one was in Beaumont Texas. Not sure of the other locations, but THIS one was beyond my expectations!
They have a wine area! The also have Starbucks and a beautiful pool area. (It was raining so no pics)

Upon arrival, our room was clean & we were able to check in a little early than 3 p.m. The staff was very professional & checked us in promptly. Later in the evening we went to the bar for drinks & decided to eat supper while there. The food was excellent & Leslie, the bartender was gracious, professional & very knowledgeable of the questions I asked. She was included in the conversations several of us at the bar were having & she talked very highly of MGM Elegante. We will revisit this hotel on our next trip. Although they were in a renovating stage; it did not interrupt our stay at all.

This is a former Hilton, probably built in the late 70'S or early 80's. It's a bit sad, BUT the staff was very welcoming and hospitable. They are just working with a property that needs a total redo and the cost of that may be prohibitive. There are lots of meeting spaces and public areas. These big older properties are not being built today as upkeep is high. In their day, they were exceptional. It was clean and the price was fine. The breakfast was very good.

Everything was great. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food in the cafe. Room was very clean and the bed made up the next day. Staff nice. I don't expect to go to Beaumont again but would stay there again.
