"We loved the hotel, our room was spacious and nice, the hotel grounds are beautiful, and the area is very peaceful and has lots of historic places to visit."

"Lovely hotel close to abbey. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was superb - all locally sourced, beautifully cooked. Both nights I stayed there, it was fairly full with plenty of local residents- sue sign of a good place! Thank you for a good stay."
