“The staff were incredibly professional and helpful. I couldn't fault any one of them but I would mention abby particularly.
The service was impeccable and the food was very food. Breakfast was so good and there was a lot of choice.
We had a pool room which was perfectly positioned next to the pool which was clean with loungers and seating.
I would highly recommend a visit here and we will certainly visit again.”

“Toilet seat was hanging off. Had to wait to get checked in, sea gulls kept us awake all night. Not an aera I recommend.”

“Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.”

“Loved the swimming pool, that’s the main reason I booked this hotel, however it was very warm, too warm to do much swimming.
Our room was lovely and clean, if not a little dated.
The breakfast was really good and the staff were excellent.
We didn’t get round to using the spa, so we will be coming back.
I would definitely recommend”

“We stopped going to the Clifton 20 odd years ago and the old and only lift was never working and it was a long old walk up and down the stairs. The same old lift has never been updated and is as much a nightmare today as it was years ago. If the internal gate isnt closed properly it does not move - absolute nightmare. This is a shame as the old place has under gone a lot of investment in the rooms which have improved greatly. Had a couple of bar meals and one was ok but the so called chicken...
