"I had a wonderful stay at Casa Madrona. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Sausalito with beautiful views of the Bay and just steps from shops, restaurants, and the ferry. The hotel has a perfect mix of historic charm and modern comfort. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. The staff really stood out. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and attentive, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. Poggio, the on-site restaurant, was excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the spa was a peaceful retreat. Yes, it’s a bit of a splurge, but for the level of service, the amenities, and the overall experience, it was well worth it. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Casa Madrona to anyone visiting Sausalito."

"Wonderful place. Rooms were nice, staff was friendly, and breakfast was standard but was nice to have offered. Highly recommend this property. However, late arrivals need to be arranged in advance with staff, or you will be unable to enter property. So as long as you notify property in advance, no problem. If not, will be a problem. "

"I had seen several negative reviews mentioning a lack of cleanliness, but we didn't find this to be the case. Both our room and the lobby area were clean. The decor and landscaping in the lobby and adjacent courtyard were very nice. There was also a complimentary wine tasting. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly!"
