“The history of this property was very unique and interesting. My only criticism was that the bar/cafe service was very slow. It took a log time for the waiter to take our order. We had arrived later in the evening. We had not had dinner and wanted to get to bed.”

“The hotel is very dated. Notes of sauna but sauna is not working in is blocked off. Notes pool is heated. It is not. The rooms are very dated covered in paint to make them look newer. Shower hard to figure out how work. Shower head looks old and yellow and looks like from the 70’s Toilet did not work did not flush and we had to fix flap ball and get unseized to get working. Only stair access no elevator we requested main floor and front desk noted in exact word all the old people got there first...

“Stayed three nights during a period of intense heat and humidity. The room was always cool and comfortable. An excellent location if you are competing at/attending the Glengarry Highland Games. Room was spacious (especially if you have a lot of gear), our room didn't have closet that would have been very welcome, just hooks where the ironing board hangs. “My family stayed for 1 night and you get what you are paying for, honestly. The floors looked clean, but our feet were black when we crawled into bed, the bathroom was outdated (kids said it was scary) and other guests were so noisy keeping my family awake most of the night. I called the front desk twice and was told they'd deal with it, but it didn't work. I was informed they had no other rooms to move us to, was very disappointed.”

“Under renovation and at check the clerk forgot to mention the water was off due to a leak but would be on in an hour. Room was clean and bed comfy in our room. Friends had an older room so bed wasn’t as comfy”
