Our room was beautiful, like a luxury hotel. In addition there was a fridge/freezer , microwave and induction burners. Conveniently located to restaurants, the lake and Haast Pass. Great affordable lodging!

The property was quaint/historical and full of character. Food was good (especially the Caesar salad!) Room and bathroom were nice. Beds and pillows were ok not great. Definitely recommend as an unique experience

Initially a bit hard to find reception - but we had driven right past it. Unit was quite small but having access to a larger shared lounge/kitchen was great. Plenty of everything you could want in the way of kitchen needs. Just a one night stay so it was perfect for our needs.
