This was an excellent guest house! The staff were very warm and accommodating. There was convenient designated parking and the guest house was right below Berat Castle.The room was spacious and very clean with a terrace as well. A good breakfast was also included. We ended up needing to stay an extra night, and they worked very hard to make it happen for us.

Lovely hotel, view and staff

The hotel has an amazing view of the mountains and is right next door to the castle, the staff were very helpful even helping me with laundry as i was stuck (even though they do not do a laundry service) The food at the restaurant was lovely. There were a few confusions but mostly due to language barriers. The internet is good and there is parking, i would stay again if i visited the town. Thank you for a lovely stay

We had a great time at Te Gjyshi. Located right by the fort and owned by the restaurant, with the same name, that has a long history of serving guests in Berat. The place was newly renovated and the views were better than shown in the pictures. Restaurant served delicious Albanian cuisine and you received a discount for being a hotel guest. For breakfast you didnt get a choice to choose qhat you would like but what they served was again delicious. We especially loved how close we were to the fortress, and the old town was a short distance down hill. Going uphill after a day of exploring is a bit of a work out but manageable. Overall, loved our stay here and would definitely come back.
