Room was spacious and newly built. A bit too modern for our taste in such an old building. Great location just off the main street in the town. Staff were friendly.
Living space in our deluxe room was large enough but the sofa was not practical to sit on, as very deep due to its design as a fold out bed. The picture on wall was tilted to one side as an odd gesture to make it look trendy... not a great look, would be nicer to keep the room cosy, practical and traditional.
Bathroom was large but no bath, and only one sink with limited space for toiletries. Sink was an odd modern design with a very small recess for water. Not really useable as a sink. Again, too much focus on modern design and not on practicality and comfort.
It's called a hotel but it's actually more like a B&B. No restaurant, Bar, lounge or other facilities. It is possible to sit in the breakfast area during the day, but this is not very comfortable. Breakfast was good with some made to order options available in addition to the small buffet.
