Our host Mary was very attentive, personable, and ready to go over and above to make our experience great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future. Our room and the commons spaces were wonderfully decorated, clean, and modern. The breakfast and freshly baked goods were also excellent.

Definitely recommend!! Mary is such a sweet lady. She had a freshly baked carrot cake on arrival. Literally a perfect spot, bethel woods is only 2 minutes down the road. Coffee and breakfast served in the morning, it was perfect.

It's the perfect B&B and the perfect location for someone attending an event or the Woodstock Museum at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Mary welcomes you at 3:00 with a homemade dessert and a quick tour of her inn. She gutted the building to its studs and had a soft opening in May, 2026, so everything is new! Our bed in the Nature Room was soooo comfy and she had crispy cotton sheets imported for the bed. Breakfast was another treat at 9:00...fresh fruit, hot coffee, homemade muffin and a quiche or...the next day was a frittata. Since everyone went to the show the night before at Bethel Woods, we all talked music for an hour. Lovely group of people, and a wonderful B&B. Mary hit a home run with this place!

Mary was charming,friendly and a gracious hostess with southern hospitality.A wonderful lady who we enjoyed talking to and who made us feel at home. Upon arrival,she greeted us with the most awesome homemade carrot cake. Breakfast the following morning was also homemade and delicious. Her home was charming,relaxing and beautifully decorated. We stayed for 2 nights in the purple room 💜 with attached bathroom.i just loved the decor, my favorite was the purple bedside lamps.Each day she made her new incoming guests a delicious type of dessert. The second night we enjoyed her cheesecake and fresh fruit. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back. We pulled up to a very pretty house, big open front deck with porch swing and lovely seating area. Mary greeted us at the door and we got to know each other over a truly sublime homemade carrot cake and conversation around a cozy kitchen table. Her entire home is recently and tastefully renovated, clean and comfortable and we were made to feel right at home. 10 minutes away there was Kauneonga Lake with a small marina and 3 restaurants to choose from for dinner. In the morning Mary seduced us with a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit and muffins followed by eggs benedict. We spent our morning at Bethel Woods' amazing Woodstock museum, also only 10 minutes away and after put on our bathing suits to cool off at Lake Superior beach. We were back at Bethel Woods for a Paul Simon concert that evening then a quick ride "home". Mary treated all 10 of us to another wonderful homemade breakfast featuring coffee cake, frattata and hash brown casserole around the dining room table getting to know the other guests. We were very happy with Windsong Retreat and especially, our hostess Mary.

Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with a home-made creme brulee and friendly conversation. Our host provided advice and assistance in deciding on the right place to have dinner. And the next morning's breakfast, eggs benedict, was excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the area's tranquility contributed to a good night's sleep. But the most memorable aspect of our stay was our host's genuine friendliness and the conversations we shared with her. We were made to feel as comfortable as we would while visiting with a good friend.

The host Mary was warm, welcoming and inviting. The beds were super comfy and the room was beautiful. Very close to Bethel Woods if you’re going to see a concert. Mary is an excellent Baker and would definitely recommend staying here if in the area.

Mary’s place was wonderful. She is warm and really wants you to feel at home and comfortable. Her offer of a home baked treat upon arrival was great. Mary had lots of suggestions for the area and truly wanted to make sure you had a good experience. We would definitely return again especially when seeing a concert at Bethel Woods. Mary’s place is just a five minute drive from the venue.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Windsong too. Marry the owner is amazing. When we arrived, she had made fresh carrot cake. The breakfast was unbelievable. Fresh fruit, homemade muffins, delicious quiche. The room was beautiful, and the linens pillows and mattress were all top of class. The B&B is great because it’s about a 1.5 mile walk to the venue, which we did. You don’t see many people walking. We also stopped into Hector‘s Inn for a cold brew. Old-school dive bar and we loved it. We will definitely be back for a concert and stay at Windsong too. Thank you Mary for a memorable weekend.

The 'Blue Room' where we stayed was beautiful and comfortable. The home-fresh dessert on our arrival was a wonderful treat after a long drive, and the home-made breakfast the next morning was delicious! Mary was also very helpful in advising us about local options for dinner that night, and sights to check the next day. The spotless home was well-furnished, and the yard beautifully manicured front and back. Would absolutely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone!

Newly remodeled with top notch amenities. Our room was immaculately furnished and spotless. Bed had the thickest and most comfortable mattress imaginable with equally elegant pillows and duvet. Every necessary convenience, including body wash, shampoos, conditioner and linens were of very high quality and pristine. Mary was the ultimate host who had prepared a specialty homemade carrot cake for a meet and greet upon our arrival. Her conversation and sincere concern for our complete satisfaction made our stay memorable. Mary’s morning breakfast prior to our departure was truly above anything that we expected. Again freshly prepared with local fruits, vegetables and a homemade quiche all served on a meticulously decorated dining table with white linen. The location is perfect for those attending a concert or visiting the Woodstock museum. A direct and short 3/4 mile drive gets you there in no time. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who truly appreciates attention to detail, cleanliness, convenience and a host that genuinely goes above and beyond to insure that her guests enjoy their stay. I highly recommend a stay at Windsong, especially if visiting Bethel Woods center. Mary, the proprietor is delightful and welcoming and a fabulous baker. Her rooms are lovely and modernized ,yet still have that old school feel. Located just 1/2 mile from the entrance to Bethel Woods. Perfect, peaceful environment. I hope to return in the near future. The room was very clean and nicely decorated The staff was excellent and accommodating Bethel woods is less than a mile away it’s a great venue for shows and a walk through the museum and grounds

Beautiful place! The nicest lady! We were treated like family and wish we could have stayed longer! Homemade delicious cheesecake on arrival. Amazing breakfast in the morning. We will be back!

We had a great trip here. It is about a mile and a half from Bethel Woods, so if you are going to a show, it is the best spot there is. Great place
