Just a fantastic place to stay in the countryside. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The bed is comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The owner is very hospitable and gracious.

Gorgeous country stay
What a fantastic getaway! I’m only sad I didn’t have time to stay for at least another night! I was greeted warmly and shown to my room. The room was spacious and had robes (always a treat for me). There’s a lovely view of the back garden from my room (#1) as well. Breakfast was plentiful! I had fresh blueberries and oatmeal to start and then salmon with scrambled eggs on toast! All of that with a strong cup of coffee was plenty for the long day ahead! This is a great place to visit if you’re looking for lovely walks, the opportunity to stay in a beautiful home, and enjoy a bit of English countryside that’s about an hour outside of London.

Midweek visit to relations in Oxford.
Country house in quiet village location. Welcomed by host. Convenient for visiting Oxford and local area. Comfortable bedroom with sitting area. Quality amenities tea/coffee and drinking water provided. Good choice for breakfast, prepared to order. Separate lounge and videos available to watch if wished. Pub that serves evening meals a short stroll. Generally very clean, but a few large cobwebs on the ceiling. I would visit again.

The house is conveniently situated for visits to Oxford and the Cotswolds. The bedrooms were large and well appointed - tv with Netflix and cable, large bathroom and shower. Breakfast was excellent. There were also two common rooms for relaxing and a great book selection. Overall, a great find.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous setting - ideal location to visit many places around the area. Leo and his daughter at check-in and breakfast was friendly and the breakfast was so tasty. Would highly recommend and hope to return next year.

Leo was there on our arrival to welcome us. showed us to our room, made a tray of coffee for us. The breakfast was outstanding, both in choice and quality. The house and our room was delightful, full of character. Would we go back, definitely .

Country manor house luxury
What a lovely place to stay! Very comfortable four poster bed. Really well equipped tea and coffee facilities in the room. Loved also having plenty of space and a little seating area by the window in the bedroom. Very clean all round, with a hot and spacious shower. Also really liked all the interesting antiques and art work around making it feel unique and in keeping with the manor house feel to the place. Like a well appointed Jane Austen home. Really warm welcome by the owner and excellent breakfast with a very high standard of food served. It felt very luxurious all round and we thought good value for money. Just around the corner from a pub also serving excellent high quality food. We'll definitely return!

Great room, quiet rural location & good breakfast
We had a double room with shower facing the church on the 1st floor. Spacious with 4-poster king-sized bed. Very comfortable & quiet at night. Although it was full, parking on site was adequate. Enjoyed the SMART tv & able to log into our own Amazon prime account to watch a film - there are various DVDs available on site at free loan if wanted. Breakfast was great - good choice, well prepared & tasty. Our only "downer" (which is nothing to do with the B&B!) was a pretty poor evening meal at The Bell 200m walk away but maybe we were unlucky. Would happily stay again if passing that way.

I went with my daughter who is 10. She loved it and so did I. The room was lovely and comfortable, interesting eclectic decor and loads of novels and paintings. The breakfast was beautifully cooked with lovely fresh ingredients, the garden is gorgeous, she wants to go back and stay a few nights with all our family.

This was an excellent choice. We were very pleased with everything. A lovely village, rural location. Would have liked to be there longer to explore the area Would definitely stay again if we visit the area.

Extremely good, cannot recommend enough.
There's a reason this place is rated so high, everything was top drawer. Extremely clean everywhere, beautiful grounds, peaceful location, delicious breakfast, and lovely surroundings to go for a walk. The only minor thing was that the church across the road was gongling early in the morning (for me) but even that would not put me off staying here again.

Lovely village, lovely b and b
A very welcoming and comfortable bed and breakfast in a very traditional small Cotswolds village. The room I had was very large, with a sofa and easy chair, plus a desk, so it would be very easy to work in the room. The building itself is the old rectory, so next to the church and in a very quiet location. There is a large garden, with croquet equipment. Breakfast was everything I wanted, with local produce, all options catered for. Just one thing to be aware of - not a problem in itself for a one night stay, but the bath in my room (room 1) has a shower attachment over the tap, but no screen around it. So a quick hair wash is fine, but those wanting a long shower would struggle.

Heyford House is a beautiful, cosy and well looked after place to stay. Staff is super friendly and my room, including the bed, was fantastic! Had a good nights sleep and a great breakfast.

Quiet area with a very laid back atmosphere .
Not the best of welcomings on arrival..... I think we must have arrived 1 minute early! The room was large and comfortable although a little shabby and cleaning of the bath was missed the following day! Not a lot of choice for breakfast, no fruit juice, and apart from a full English there was no alternative! Saying that, the quality of what they had was good.

We stayed 2 nights at Heyford House, couldn't fault it & wish we could have had longer. Breakfast was excellent and we look forward to returning before too long.
