Top Big Lake Library Hotel Reviews
Aspen Suites Hotel Anchorage North
10/10 Excellent
"Clean comfortable room. Not luxurious but nice enough. Large refrigerator a plus and coffee maker to make your own coffee. Great for extended stays!"
The Lakefront Anchorage
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location, clean room and helpful staff. I have to mention the Lakefront drivers were extremely helpful with our luggage and boxes of fish we brought home. They put them immediately in Lakefronts freezer and we're so helpful getting them reloaded up for our airport return."
The Wildbirch Hotel - JDV by Hyatt
8/10 Good
"First time we tried to use the shower, it was cold. Since it was already late morning what I thought would be an ‘urgent’ maintenance issue became a work order and little follow up. Ultimately, it was fixed. More urgency and communication would have been nice."
Aspen Suites Hotel Anchorage Downtown

Eagle River Lodge
8/10 Good
"Nice place. My only complaint is the shower was slippery and that is a minor issue. Just had to be cautious. Overall room was very clean, nice soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, and bed was pretty comfortable. I would definitely stay here again."
Merrill Field Inn
10/10 Excellent
"I wanted a cheaper place and in what some would consider to be a less preferable neighborhood. I was very satisfied with my stay here, it was within my budget. The employees were very helpful, easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. I did not come here expecting perfection and to be perfectly honest I was very happy with what I did get. The AC worked, the heater worked. The TV worked and had multiple stations. I was pleasantly surprised with the large space of the room itself, I did not feel cramped whatsoever. I was happy to look out my window and see that they had a dog walking area and so I know it could be a good future place to come with my dog. The breakfast was definitely Continental but I have to say those muffins were fantastic and I honestly appreciated that they were sliced in half because it allowed me to get two different flavors and not overindulge on just one. I very much appreciate the ample parking and the shuttle service so that I could go pick up my rental car. Genuinely enjoyed my stay here and I will happily recommend it to all of my friends if they are traveling on a budget like I was. There are also a great many things within short distance of this hotel, good food, good local culture stores, nice lettuce. Walgreens not too far. And the coffee huts! Also, I love planes. So getting to hear them anytime I stepped outside or opened the window, amazing. Thank you for a great experience."
Sheraton Anchorage Hotel
8/10 Good
"Property is currently in the process of being refreshed. Could use a decor update in the rooms, but comfortable, none-the-less."
Mat-Su Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous view from our room. Everett's live music & good food. Salmon were jumping-fun to watch. Will definitely stay again."
Best Western Lake Lucille Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here for two nights in August. Here are the pros and cons. Pros. Very clean, comfortable beds, helpful staff, quiet location (some of the guests not so much). Free coffee/hot chocolate is available and you can buy bottled water on site. Location is beautiful. Nice spacious showers (no bath). Chop House restaurant was excellent but probably the most expensive restaurant in Alaska that I've ever been to (and I live here)! Breakfast was also ok, had hot items like eggs and sausages, a cereal selection, fresh fruit, toast, muffins, MYO waffles, juice, coffee and some snacks like granola bars. Cons. No air conditioning so the room was like a sauna! Hotel provides fans and you can open the window, but that exposes you to the noise of the parking lot and noisy non-hotel guests who are eating at the restaurant, which is not ideal. We were not aware that we would need a reservation to eat in the on-site restaurant, so after a 7 hour drive to get there, and starving, we had to wait over 30 minutes for a table to become available. No big deal, but we could have been made to wait longer, or worse, not been able to get a table at all. The room rate doubles during State Fair time."
