As you know we are a pet friendly hotel and as such we cannot control the pets as that is the responsibility of their owners. As you know from when I spoke with you at your check out I will be giving you and your husband points due to your inconvenience.

Actually we have pictures of the hotel in both daylight and at night and our hotel has vinyl siding not painted. Unfortunately our elevator is out and during your stay our first floor was already full or you would have been given a room on the 1st floor. I do apologize that your credit card had an authorization on it but unfortunately this is something the system does and the desk clerk has no control of it. This is why there is a disclaimer at the front desk letting our guest know that this might happen. Again I do apologize that you were inconvenienced during your recent stay with us.

I do how ever feel you got our information mixed up with other hotels you may have been looking at before booking. Hello ChristopherWe went by what was on hotels.com reservation system. The extranet said you were responsible for 1 night so we had to charge you for that night. Had it said otherwise we would not have done so. Please always check your conformation letter form which ever site you book at due to the different cancelation policies.

Not having a name to go by I cannot check your reservation to see why you would not be entitled to a refund for the last day. There could be several reason why we would not be able to refund such as time of day you left or how you booked your reservation. Again I am very sorry to hear you had to leave due to illness.
