I drove all night. Got to hotel around noon. Tried to check in a little early and was told NO, that rules were rules and couldn't check in till 2 pm. So I waited, then finally when able to check in. She said it was extra for 2 dogs even though I was standing by a sign that says "your pet stays free. I have stayed at many Red Roof Inns before, never have I had to pay for another dog. She was so rude I couldn't stay there. I had paid for the room but stayed at another hotel and will NEVER stay at a Red Roof again. I called Red Roof corporate and after 28 minutes of being on hold, I finally hung up! So I paid for room and only got back smugness, arrogance and rudeness. I'm on SS, and on a fixed budget, I resent having to waste my money over a rude employee.
