“Working in the area, made a change from the standard hotels, lovely and clean and carpets throughout made my stay nice and quiet, well maintained and pleasant welcome from Peter, Met Justine in the morning, welcoming well catered breakfast available. I had room 4, a single en-suite room, with coffee/tea in the room and clean shower facilities.”

“Really happy with my stay. Half the price (£65 for Walnut Room) and twice as good as city centre chains. There was a bit of traffic noise (building is close to a busy road) but the room had character (v high ceilings), nice furniture, comfortable bed, was clean and in a good location. Easy to find fault in places but as someone who regularly works away for work, this is definitely a 'come back to'.”

“Fantastic and very helpful host. Great room and wonderful garden. About a 30 minute walk from the airport and a 20 minute walk from the NEC. The only thing missing was an included breakfast. The WiFi is very slow - streamed did sometimes buffer and not really any restaurants or anything near by and it wasn’t possible to order in without an English mobile number, but the host was very helpful and friendly. This obviously is not the host’s fault, but a food option or a local number would be very...

“It was a very comfortable sleep. A large big room with plenty of storage. The only drawback is that I would have appreciated a mini kettle in my room. I was on the third floor so had a little bit of a trek to the kitchen.”
