The only issue we had is our sink must be clogged very slow draining. We always stay here for concerts.

ZERO STARS. “Laundry” is listed as an amenity. I called and spoke to someone who said they had complimentary laundry. Only reason I booked it, after driving for 8 hrs. Got there, no laundry. Front desk told me I must have spoke to someone from Expedia when I called, but I clicked “contact property” so it was hotel staff.

The valets, Keith & Micah are so professional! They helped my daughter and I with the car and luggage. They made us feel safe as we are from out of town. Great young men; I hope they are paid well.

An amazingly beautiful property. If you like a downtown location that's walkable to parks, shops, dining, etc, this is it. Birmingham is a beautiful, clean city. We LOVED the history of the property and the staff was great. The only feedback I'd have was that there was no mini-fridge in the room and the desk and side tables in the room seemed not as nice as they should have been. Not a big deal, but we would have appreciated a fridge and that's pretty standard these days and the room was plenty big for one. LOVED our stay and would highly recommned.

The hotel was filthy upon arrival. I cancelled the reservation and re-booked elsewhere. The pictures are misleading on the Expedia website.

The hotel itself was very nice in a quiet neighborhood. The room was very clean and comfortable, but those very dim lights in the bathroom made it feel as I were in a cave. Forget about putting on makeup. The restaurant wasn't open the first two nights of my stay so I walked up the block to another hotel for dinner, as recommended by reception. Food was good but very small portions and expensive. I saw no other restaurants in the area. I didn't like walking there alone, at night, as there were no other people on the street and very little traffic. The second night while walking back to the hotel, there was a vehicle, engine running, lights on, parked across the street. A man kept calling ma'am, ma'am, ma'am to me. I tried to hurry along, but couldn't due to my age. Thankfully, the Hampton Inn restaurant was open the following night and I didn't have to walk around there anymore.

Hotel overall is good. Breakfast was good. Parking is horrid especially if u are driving anything bigger then a compact car. I also feel that the room with fireplace is false advertising. The pics appear to be a real fireplace when behind the cover its a fake electric heater in the fireplace hole.

We love this hotel. All of the Historic Pictures. The service was excellent as usual. The sofa was a little stiff but I know it’s a new sofa. lol The breakfast is always good. The kitchen staff were so friendly. I have no complaints

I loved the architecture that recalls antique and historic design. Very good breakfast and environment. Two things to improve: A/C is very noise and the body gel soap was more water that soap.

Nice Hotel in downtown Birmingham
Beautiful old building , wonderful place to stay! Unexpected morning breakfast which was good except for eggs - probably Not real eggs but well done over all. Staff is friendly and exceptional. Ice machine not working on floor otherwise all great. Happy stay! Easy win and out with valet parking
