"First off, Walter at the front desk is amazing. A one man show, hje handled all problems with poise. The poeple here were very accomodating. The Motel is an open door to every room. When it rained, it sounded like it was coming into the room, but it wasn't. The two rooms we stayed in were nice and clean, but very basic. The family stle room had a king bed and a seperate room with two built in twins. I'm 6'3" and I fit okay into one of these twins. The swimming pool is small but the weather was never warm enough to attempt to use. Location is an easy in/out with a 5 minute walk to the shuttle stop across the street at the campsite. There is an excellent place within walking to get live lobster dinners and ice cream. It's about a 10 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor, a 5 minute drive to Acadia entrance and situated that you can drive to all parts of the island. There are multiple places to stay, but when all factors are considered, this is a very nice place."

"2nd time here so we like it. You can beat the location. We used to stay at the resort on wwst St but got tired of the noise and children running up and down the hallways. The hotel is super clean and the beds are super comfy. They serve a lovely complimentary breakfast. Dinner is comfort food standards but having the restaurant in house is convenient. Dinner is ok but do is most of the dining in Bar Harbor."

"Wonderfully charming B&B with a beautiful waterfront view, gracious hosts and spacious rooms! Delicious breakfast in the dining area and covered porch for evening wine watching the boats come in. Highly recommend and hope to be back for another visit soon!"

"The hotel is older but the rooms were very well maintained. The complimentary snacks and sodas were a very nice touch. The hotel was very quiet. When we return to Maine we will stay here again."

"Stone Park was a beautiful property with very clean and spacious rooms. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was there was no elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floors. I didn't realize this or I would have asked for a bottom floor room when I booked the stay months ago. I will definitely be back though!"
Wonder View Inn - Bar Harbor Collection

"The location was great. You could walk to Bar Harbor or take the island explorer to avoid paying for parking downtown. Note that taking the island explorer back from downtown takes longer (5 min there, 20 min back) because Wonder View is the last stop. The room was clean and we had a ton of space in a corner room with two queens and a wraparound balcony. The indoor pool was a nice surprise. The outdoor pool was beautiful but it was cold and the weather wasn’t super hot so we only enjoyed it briefly. Check in and out was super easy, the staff was helpful and friendly."
