"My friend and I stayed for two nights at the West Hotel Ataman. Our rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds, excellent shower and lovely breakfast with good choice of food. Really friendly and helpful staff, especially Vera and colleague's on reception. The kitchen staff prepared a take away breakfast for our early morning departure on the day we checked out. "It's a new hotel at older part of Batumi. Rooms are nice and fresh. The area is quieter than modern parts of Batumi and not popular among Arabs etc. Thanks to this there is minimal traffic at night. There are still plenty of restaurants and shops around and it's a small walk to the beach. If you let them know ahead then they reserve parking place in front of the hotel.
