Apologies things were not quite right for you .. We sell bedrooms there is no lounge/bar/sitting area shown or advertised .. There is no meet and greet that is why it is self check in .. Automated message should reach guests after booking with a more information including more on parking and how to contact someone during your stay for any reason as reception is limited.. As for the sheets I am sorry, it seems some of the older bedding came into use for a few days and unfortunately some had marks that dont wash off .. As for the room with the items, it was a shop that is now being packed up so the room can be a second ground floor bedroom.

Hi I am pleased to say this room is being up dated to a luxury double, its on the last few weeks now as a family room. Reception is open in the mornings ... In the self check in message that you received on the morning of check in it tells you that its limited reception open in the mornings, Thats why its self check in and you could not find any staff .. Milks teas excreta are complimentary and would of been available if you had of rang the reception bell in the morning.

Hi sorry it wasnt up to your expectations. There has been a few problems showing them selves after being closed down so long. When you book a double room there isnt a choice of witch one you get as there are several all decorated differently we also reserve the right to sell family rooms as doubles at busy times. All other rooms are named individually with different prices if these are booked you would not get moved to any other without a good reason and being notified. your booking was a standard double room. The socket has now been fixed. and the noise being dealt with.. I hope this information has helped.

The booking came through in the afternoon a e-mail was sent to you through this booking channel reminding you of the latest check in also about parking as it was a busy time. A call was made. No reply.came back in any form. No payment was taken because there was no response from you before reception closed 9 pm.. When you turned up hours after the reception closed your phone call was answered and you were offered the option of being let in, as payment had not been taken it was your decision to go and find somewhere else to stay. We are sorry regarding this situation as you said you came by train and it was late if you had contacted ourselves arrangements would of been in place for your arrival. Arriving safely is most important.
