โLovely hotel. We were in the extra building as we wanted low floor. We arrived and were lucky to get a parking space. Easy to get the permit from reception. Breakfast gorgeous. Only downside for me was that the pillows were too hard and no option of a soft fluffy pillowโ
โLovely nights stay at the Ashford Arms. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant serving fabulous food. Nice to have a breakfast menu as opposed to a buffet. Great location in quiet village close to Bakewell. Would stay again if back in Derbyshire.โ
โThe hotel was lovely, the staff couldn't do any more to help us. The breakfast was very superior to any that we have had in a long time. Our room had an en-suite, coffee making facilities, hair dryer and one heck of an awesome view of the dales. The best part for us both was that they had a bar, so we could venture out during the day and rewind with a few drinks with our dinner. โ
โVery kind staff for both the stay and dinner, accommodating for requests. The room had a cozy classic vibe and remodeled recently. The inn is right in the center of the town and very walkable with lots of little places around for food and shopping. The food at the attached restaurant was fantastic all around!โ
โThis hotel is located in a beautiful old building with a gorgeous garden. The rooms are charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast each day and the bar in the evening. Nice wine selection! Its a great locattion for visiting Chatsworth House and the beautful scenery of the Peak Distict.โ
