"Riad Taryana was an incredible stay! Located right in the heart of the Medina, we really felt like we were part of the local culture. We were so close to everything (shops, restaurants, rooftop views, coffee shops, and all tourist attractions). We could also walk outside to see street performers at night. Our room was impeccably clean, and we had a balcony to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the city and mountains. The food was great for breakfast. The staff were so kind and helpful, going out of their way to carry our luggage and personally walk us to different shops for things that we needed. They also told us the city’s history and recommended attractions and tours. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will absolutely stay here again next time we are in Fes."

"Centraĺy located in the back street in the middle of the medina. Very quiet for a good night sleep with plenty of space. Spacious bathroom. Good breakfast to start the day. "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay in Fes. The riad makes a great first impression—the courtyard is beautiful, and the rooftop has great views and is a really nice spot for breakfast. Our room on the main level wasn’t ideal. The windows opened straight into the lobby, so it didn’t feel very private, and we could hear a lot of conversation through the vents (and assumed the same the other way). The bathroom also had some issues. The shower wasn’t really usable without water spraying everywhere, and the space isn’t set up well for that. The staff were friendly and helpful overall. That said, some of the upselling felt a bit deceptive, which took away slightly from the experience."

The Riad is on the edge of the medina which means it is quiet, but it is worth contacting the Riad when you first arrive, especially if it’s night time, to meet you at the nearest gate. They’re very happy to help! "
