"Overall we enjoyed our stay in Fes. The riad makes a great first impression—the courtyard is beautiful, and the rooftop has great views and is a really nice spot for breakfast. Our room on the main level wasn’t ideal. The windows opened straight into the lobby, so it didn’t feel very private, and we could hear a lot of conversation through the vents (and assumed the same the other way). The bathroom also had some issues. The shower wasn’t really usable without water spraying everywhere, and the space isn’t set up well for that. The staff were friendly and helpful overall. That said, some of the upselling felt a bit deceptive, which took away slightly from the experience."

The Riad is on the edge of the medina which means it is quiet, but it is worth contacting the Riad when you first arrive, especially if it’s night time, to meet you at the nearest gate. They’re very happy to help! "
