"We were a little concerned about some of the prior negative comments but we found none of it to be true! We had a fantastic time and our room was extremely clean staff was very helpful. Yes the hotel is old and could use a little sprucing up in the common areas but overall was fine!"

"So I want to give our stay 5 stars because in general the room was great, the floors were dirty but they came and cleaned them right away, the food was amazing and staff in general were so nice. However we stayed on what we didn’t realize was spring break weekend and the beach was flooded with highschoolers. There was multiple fights and arrests and there was literally no space to enjoy the beach since they were pitching tents and everything else. There was also and incident when we returned from dinner with friends, some teenagers ran up to my fiance and accosted him and then yelled that he had touched her. Had it not been for the multiple witnesses around it could have turned into a bad situation. We informed security and hotel staff as this occurred in their lobby. But no one did anything about it. This happened the night before we left. I followed up on the incident multiple times with the property manager but no one has ever responded. The front desk workers were really helpful and nice though, and attempted to make the situation right, staff in general makes me want to return but definitely not on a holiday weekend. They just don’t have good security."

"The room itself was great and offered plenty of space for a multi-night stay. The kitchenette was a nice addition and the view was definitely worth the extra cost. The air conditioner kept the room comfortable, handled the heat well and operated quietly, although it could not be set below 66 degrees. Parking was manageable during our stay, but I could see it becoming an issue during busier periods. Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay fell short. The breakfast was disappointing. The only hot items available were pancakes, which were either extremely hard or overly mushy. Both the apple and orange juice tasted heavily watered down and bananas were the only fresh fruit option offered. The bathroom also had some issues. The shower had extremely low water pressure, making it difficult to rinse shampoo from our hair almost used water bottles to finish rinsing. Additionally, the bathroom door nearly hit the toilet and dragged across the floor when opened."

"So even without an Ocean view room, you walk out your door and see the ocean right there. So, convenience in location to beach, check. Pool and hot tub awesomeness, check. Friendly staff allowed us to stay parked there until after we checked out, so that was also dope. I will stay here again if I go to Daytona Beach again."
