"The staff were very good and friendly. The property is older hence 4 stars but the room was very spacious and the huge deck with the heart shaped tub was enjoyable. Great spot if you want to relax and read a book. Was able to snorkle right off the front door but not a lot of fish to see. Spa treatment was reasonable and nice. "

"Stedet er lite å koselig så vis man er et par er det sikkert helt topp. Vi var en venne gjeng på tur å det ble litt kjedelig der. Stranden er full av søppel å fiske båter så den er det ikke mulig å bruke. Det er et stort fint basseng der å siden det bare er 5 rom så har man det nesten alltid for seg selv. "The Kirana Tembok is situated on a very nice spot at the beach. We (2 pax) stayed 7 nights at the very large family house (payed upfrade) which is very nice. The resort has a very nice garden. Kitchen is adequate but not very special. Pool is superb. We need to mention that on the fourth night we had a problem with little biting insects in our bed. Not nice at all (lot of bites) and we moved to another bedroom in the middle of the night. Told the staff next morning and they reacted efficiently...

When we reached there and complained about the condition of room owner was so rude and almost threatened us. Only good thing was the view from hotel. But its very loud there constant noise of trucks. "Great view from bedroom facing Mt. Batur, can easily setup timelapse to catch sunrise. Good location for pickup if you are planning a Mt. Batur sunrise trek tour, pick up at 3:15am and 20min drive to start of hike (compared with pickup 1am from Ubud). Owner of hotel is a nice uncle, chill with me flying drone on his property for some great shots of the caldera rim. A cosy bed and breakfast with a great view and near some caldera rim restaurants. "Très grosse déception, avions été séduit par ce logement atypique malheureusement sale (piscine verte, vétusté), des mouches par centaine, bruyant, de nouvelles constructions sur le terrain donc des bruits a prévoir tte la journée. Rien de rien autour (ni restau, ni supermarché) à moins de 15 min en voiture. Nous avons anticipé le départ tellement horrible.
