Excellent location for cathedral and central Bordeaux. 15 mins to quayside and port. Tram stop palace de justice right outside, only €1.9 for 1 hour unlimited journey which will also cover trip from the airport. Room small but clean and adequate for 3 night stay for 1 person. Good air con. Comfortable bed. Shower room looked newly refurbished. Overall good value for budget accommodation. Breakfast bars/ room relatively small and a bit chaotic/ crowded at peak times, often needed to ask topping up for items running low. Breakfast choice adequate but very carb heavy rather than cereal/ yogurt choices. Overall acceptable value for money. Would return for price and convenience.
Great location and perfect for what we were looking for - comfortable, basic, low cost place to stay. Nice breakfast and friendly bar with patio. Enjoyed our stay.
The property was easily accessible, staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, parking easy. The only issue are the roadworks outside the front door, but the hotel has used good signage to show guests entrances.
Great location. Easy walk to all attractions and next to tram stop. Room was small but adequate. Air con was excellent in very hot temperatures . Breakfast was fine. Good value for money
Easy check in. Parking a bit hard to find in the hotel. Rooms small but clean with a few amenities. Bed comfy.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Central to everything you need, tram ride straight from airport to across road from hotel most landmarks walking distance
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very accommodating to us which we greatly appreciated! Our first day arriving wasn't great as the AC in the room wasn't good, the room was fairly cramped and we had landed in the midst of a heatwave, but they were able be move to a more comfortable space which we were very grateful for.
It is a budget option and I appreciate the price. It was clean and odourless, these are two key things for me.
The location is superb! It is within walkable distance to everywhere and die cite de vin, you can take a tram and change or walk for a bit and get the direct tram.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Decent stay, and quite a few options for continental breakfast, waffles, pain au chocolats, cakes, etc. The only annoying thing is that checkout is at 2 pm, so I had to walk around Bordeaux for ages cuz I had got there at 11. Very ealkable to city centre, really close to the tram stop and bus stop and a Carefour right across the street in case you need to grab something.
Small room but adequate for two.
A table that folder up against the wall in the corner of the room would have been better as unable to get round the bed.
Not being a couple, a privacy curtain or screen to the shower would have been good.
Not much room to enter the toilet room.

Disliked: Room comfort
Very well located hotel, right in a main avenue of the city (the tram stop to the airport is just in front);
The room looks much bigger in the photos than it really is;
I was solo and couldn't almost dress myself how narrow were the spaces everywhere;
The traffic in the main avenue in front is heavy everytime and the windows not enough proofed, so be aware to order a room to the back side of the building (you can even hear the pigeons taking care of its nest just outside the window).

Clean simple but hotels.com checkin time wrong
Room is small but clean. Decent location. However we had booked this hotel due to the checkin at noon : checkin is not until 2pm and it costs to use the luggage room. Also on final day cleaner came into room at 10am when checkout is noon.
The staff were pleasant. However: the bathroom was so small and it really could use upgrading; there was the smallest window I have ever seen that barely opened; the aircon did not work; it had zero amenities and the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. I know it says budget hotel, but this was definitely not accurately described. I would never stay here again.

There was a flood so we were evacuated from the room at 5am and had to sit downstairs in the reception for 2 hours. Staff did their best to be helpful and we have been told we will get a refund. It is one of those freak things that happened and can't always be helped. It is in a very central place, perfect for exploring Bordeaux in half a day
The booking at hotels.com said check in time started at noon, but when I arrived the staff said it was 2pm and they could not give me a room, while storing luggage would cost additional 2 Euros. When I was a bit frustrated by this, another staff at the reception (Timothee) kindly helped me find a room which was ready for check-in, I appreciated his help in resolving this matter in a nice way.
One good thing about staying here is that, even though it is a budget ibis hotel, breakfast is included. While we needed to check out earlier than breakfast time, we were still able to grab some pastry and coffee before we left.
In addition, rooms in this hotel are equipped with air conditioning, which is very important during summer as Bordeaux can be very hot.
Found the bathroom unclean at check in, receptionost was very efficient in providing another room.
The structure is not well mantained and rooms smell of mold. Air conditioning was not working properly and the room was very warm.
There is no hairdryer in the room, however it can be borrowed from reception (cash deposit).
At 2 am someone started screaming in the hall, waking us up. Screaming continued for a while.
Breakfast was ok, towels and linen unexpectedly fresh.
Good location very close to public transport.

Rooms were clean, staff was courteous. Only issue was the key system, they never got it to work with two keys (one would always NOT work from the beginning, for both rooms). Every time we asked to fix one key, it would disable the other…so what was the point in giving us two keys?
The other issue is you get what you paid for. There is literally only room to sleep. No room for luggage. We pushed them under the bed. Bed frames are smaller than the mattress so you can’t even sit on the side of the bed. Bathroom sink size is below standards. Can’t even bow down to wash your face ( your head would hit the wall - the sink is sooo narrow and close to the wall). Shower head wasn’t working right and on our first day, sink drain cap was stuck in the closed position so we had to brush our teeth, wash our hands, etc in the shower, but they quickly addressed it the next day. Breakfast was reasonable - ham and eggs were standard protein.
If you just need a place to put your stuff and sleep, it’s ok. But don’t expect to do anything else in your room. Also, because there’s a bunk bed, I keep hitting my head on it every time I reached for something on the bedside while I was up. Although thankful for the price (got it for less than $70/night), I’m never doing that again…would rather stay a little further away from downtown in a nicer hotel. On the flip side, the attached Ibis (non Budget) was nice, had a classy spacious lobby that we used…probably just spring for that next time.
Excellent hotel for a one night stay in Bordeaux. Near the cathedral and a variety of dining options. Would recommend and would stay at this hotel again.
