Initially, I didn’t have very high expectations (despite the good reviews), but those quickly changed once we arrived.
The location was peaceful and quiet, the car park was large and well-planned, and the room exceeded my expectations—it was far more spacious than any hotel room I’ve stayed in before....

“Great hotel if cycling C2C, as they serve breakfast from 4am. Cycles allowed in rooms too. Very clean, although my bathroom was very small and fitted with a movement light, which meant it going dark whilst in the shower”

“Had a few days in The Lakes while visiting family in the UK and attending the Oasis concert in London. We could not have been happier with The Ambleside Inn - totally excellent stay. Great location, wonderful staff (thank you) and although no onsite parking there are lots very close to the Inn and the short stay (30 min) drop off is right outside.
