"This is not the most convenient location- you have to take a shuttle with limited times to get to the train station to get to Sorrento and from there get a ferry to Naples, Capri or Amalfi / Positino. I thought we were staying in Sorrento so took a ferry there and it costs us $80 euros to get to hotel sadly. You also have to get a bus between the ferry port and train station or walk it. All of this hard on my husband who uses a Walker. However, with all that said, this place is TERRIFIC!! No complaints whatsoever. Amazing views of Vesuvius, beautiful pool, great staff, lovely breakfast, spacious room & balcony, etc!"

"An absolutely stunning property with incredibly helpful staff. The only thing I would warn about is the distance from Sorrento (where I had booked our Viator tours out of.) I didn’t notice that detail when I booked through Hotels.com. It required a 20 euro ride to the train station and then a half hour ride on Trenitalia or Circumvesuviana. Then do the same upon return."

"We had wonderful stay here! Our room was big and very clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful! This is perfect location for walking to the local shops, for cappuccinos baked goods, and dining. I would stay here again."

"The room was old and there were ants on the furniture when I went in. The staff did not help with luggage which was difficult up steps. The shower was not the cleanest. There was a staff member who helped us back out the car onto the busy road which was nice. The breakfast was great. "

"Its a camping site with rooms for the ones that dont have tents I guess. I didnt see that when I booked. My bottle purse got stolen from in front of my room, The bathroom lock was broken, Ac didnt work well. The breakfast and fromt desk gentleman were great."

"The shower cabin was too small for my large husband. The water was not constantly warm, sometimes it changed to cold. Also I reserved 2 room. Only one room had a bidet. "

"The hotel was lovely, very pretty surroundings which are well kept. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was nice, a good selection for everyone including pastries, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, cheeses and meats. We didn't eat dinner so can't comment on it but the menus looked nice. The pool area was nice with views of versuvius. The pool isn't heated so be warned, it's cold! The rooms were really nice, the beds are super comfortable. Each room has it's own small patio area which is nice but unfortunately we had a view of a wall which was a bit disappointing. Also we didn't get any sun on it so it was very cold in the mornings and evenings (we stayed at the beginning of May). It's about a 20-25min walk into Pompeii town along a busy road and you have to cross the railway track. We didn't mind the walk even though I had a broken bone in my foot! Apart from the 3 course menu and bar snacks at the hotel, there isn't anywhere else to eat so walking to Pompeii town was the only way to eat in the evenings. Again, it wasn't a problem for us but might be for less able people. There is a train station in Pompeii town and another one which is about a 30-35min walk away. All in all, the staff are lovely and if I was going back to just visit Pompeii and relax I'd book again but it is quite out of the way. If you want peace and quiet (apart from the cockerel crowing from 3am!) then it's perfect but maybe not for a base to travel around."
