I was scammed! When I arrived, I couldn’t check in . And transferred to another building at night . And no one knows the WiFi password, so I called the company, but no one answered the call. Horrible experience, there was no service of this company! You got nothing but disappointment.

Buy the parking in advance if you need it. They offer earlier check-in for a price too. Extremely beautiful area. Lost my key, luckily someone works there until 12am and Avis from customer service and Brandon at the front were amazing and helped us get back in our room after a concert. Worth the stay, just follow-up with what you need.

Staff did not know who I was or where my reservation was. I had no place to park my rental car because it was not included in the price nor was it clear that parking was extra. The after hour host nor the staff could get me into the garage and they did not know were I could park locally or if my car would be towed. The area the building was in was a restricted area needing a card to even enter the neighborhood. It was very anxiety provoking and frustrating with no one having local knowledge to even answered basic questions. Worst check in and follow up experience I have ever had and I am 68 years old and a world traveler.

Tres bien, beau et parfait pour se rendre au centre-ville! J’ai eu de la misère avec ma passe de stationnement, et j'ai du insister et prouver que je l’avais payé, finalement il me l'ont donné. Quand je suis arrivée, il y avait personne à la réception, mais autrement tout etait parfait! Nous avons eu accès au patios, salle de pool! Super environnement!

We arrived at 7:30pm. I was emailed the wrong check in address. They never got around to telling me where I was supposed to go, because they got hung up on the fact that I didn’t pre-pay for parking. Then they didn’t want to give us the parking pass. When they did, it wasn’t the one that open the door to where our assigned spot was. After going back to the front desk for the 3rd time, we got the correct pass. By this point, we still didn’t have our room keys. The staff asked us to meet some guy on a side door of the next building, which we did. He told us to “park anywhere”. When we told him we got an assigned spot, he said “oh yeah you better park there then.” He gave us a mini manila envelope with keys, left, and then we realized he gave us the wrong room keys with someone else’s name handwritten on them. When we found him again and let him know, he told me “that’s not my fault”. A lady sitting with him mentioned he must’ve given my keys to the last couple that checked in, so he told me he was going to knock on their door to confirm. I eventually found him knocking on the wrong door. They didn’t answer, and then he said he may not have keys to my room at all. At this point it was 9pm and I’m carrying a fussy infant in the lobby being I may not have a room. They eventually told us we should just stay in the other people’s room, because they didn’t want to switch. Why would they?? Nothing about this place was luxury. I would never come here again and you shouldn’t either.

The property kept asking me and my colleague to send pictures of our ID's and Credit Card. After doing so 4 or 5 times, I arrived to the property to find out my room was cancelled for not submitting the paperwork!

It was very important that I called a week ahead to pay for parking and to make sure a lockbox was ready for us when we arrived after midnight when no one was at the main desk. I had to call again before we got on the plane for our lock box code. It was close to the subway entrance. The pool was in a different building and it was closed for maintenance. The main reason I picked this location was the pool for our son, he was very disappointed.

Stayed at Luxury Suites in East Boston for 3 nights. Zero communication about parking, we registered our vehicle with my credit card and got no proof of receipt or parking confirmation to enter the garage. Also were promised roof access which was untrue as the only access was in another building in the complex that we could not access. Only 1 of our 4 keys worked to get into the building and our room. The property also mentioned the apartment would be furnished with the necessary equipment, and the bare minimum was given (no sheet pans, coffee machine, ice maker, or spatula/mixing spoons, and only 2 rolls of toilet paper were provided along with no hand soap)

We had a phenomenal time!!! Our apartment was clean, spacious, the view of the harbor is absolutely breathtaking! We couldn’t be happier about our trip here! Check in was east along with parking. We even extended our stay one more day and they were super accommodating!

We need to wait more 30 mins to reception to get the key to enter as it is misinformed to the front desk . We are three travelling from west coast for important meeting in the morning and tired a lot. Furthermore, we booked this to get better rest right after the flight. But we got very unpleasant experience. Not sure we will try EXPEDIA ANYMORE.Not worth for the money we spent

Needs better communication when it comes to payments and parking… was not aware for an additional $500 charge from the $984 I paid when booking, wasn’t aware that a parking permit was needed or I would be towed, wasn’t aware I had to CALL the company for extra towels for the stay and not able to get them delivered the next day. FIRST of all. It's an apartment. NOT A HOTEL. Bed was squeaky and super uncomfortable, pillows had like 4 feathers left in them. Shower did not drain, so have fun standing in water during your shower. You CANNOT get into the room any sooner than 4pm, don't bother getting ahold of someone, they won't respond. EVER. Washing machine works, but the dryer doesn't work. So have fun having wet clothes you can't dry. Oh and the best part, text messages at 3am 6am to get into the place for a meter reading. Only plus is the proximity to the subway. I recommend staying any place else. Not worth the money with the hassle of this place.

It was near the Ferry and on the water, which was very nice. Drawback is that there are absolutely no sign for or even a hint of the name Global Luxury Suites East Boston. The concierge was away from the desk when I got there. And to further complicate things, there are 2 buildings.

Took so long to get checked in!!
Communication was poor, no one was at the desk when we showed up, had to call off site phone number, when we got in to the to check in no communication about the parking situation was told that it’s in the room looking for the fob to get in and was not there come to find out it was not where it was supposed be still not knowing where to park or the number , had to call was on the phone for one hour still not solved, the last contact was told his day was done and to call back in the morning!! To bad the person at the deck had better information the bed was horrible was caving in bad wife slept on the couch, sad. P S when we did finally got the parking spot it was in the wrong building!!! We did get that fixed

Great location! Needs some fixing!
We loved the location and and the overall building was very nice! Some of the issues were that the light in the kitchen did not work! We called the management company and they said they would get it fixed! They never came! The kitchen has no window in it! The sofa bed was very uncomfortable! The regular bed was ok but not up to the price of the room! Also there were no darking curtains! There is a bright street light right outside of the window! So it was never dark in the front room!

This property was great, there was a pool table inside the apartment building that we were staying in which was a plus! The studio was clean and had everything we needed. There was a small market and the train and ferry right there. However, the pool and other amenities were in a different building. We were also not informed that we had to request parking before hand and when we finally received the parking pass the garbage door was broken. Communication was also not that great because when trying to reach customer service they were not on site so they couldn’t do much to help.

You can’t get a hold of anyone for anything. Spent 3 nights there and never got the sheets for the sleeper for our kids, after countless calls and emails. Towel rack was broken. Location was good and it would have been good if they just gave us linens!

Missing two pots for cooking. Could not use lower part of bedroom outlet due to a thick wire wedged in socket. Could not get TV to work. Perhaps some instructions on the table would help? No envelope on back of the door for key drop off as requested in instructions. Toilet paper holder needs to be adjusted as roll kept falling off.

A well located and equipped apartment
If you’re looking for an apartment not a hotel room, it’s a good choice. Good location just off the waterfront in East Boston, just yards from the Boston rapid transit system into the city centre Choice of supermarkets and restaurants locally so there’s everything you need nearby. But you need to accept you don’t get hotel services, so other than key collection there is no reception service etc. Expect to also be a bit confused as to where to collect your key. For our apartment the door was just by the Portside mini-market. It’s also got very easy access to the airport, but you can’t hear any airport noise. There’s also the ferry across the harbour from the end of the street. The surrounding area is clean and tidy, and the area around the station quite vibrant. Our studio apartment was a good size, well equipped and perfectly cleaned. All appliances worked fine. We had no issues. We stopped there as part of a trip to run the Boston marathon, and it was ideal. For a studio I would say it’s pretty large and could easily be the size of a 1 bedroom proper apartment. Just don’t expect hotel services, and reading other reviews if you do have any issues you may need to be patient. No issues for us. It’s clearly a largely residential development, but we found the other residents friendly and welcoming. We tried the Reel House & D’Parma restaurants nearby, both excellent. Enjoy your trip to Boston- it’s a great city!

Customer service is slow and not on site
This was a nice room, and we really enjoyed the space and the bonus was that it had its own washer and dryer. They had a full kitchen and dining area, the only thing that was terrible was their customer service. We arrived on the weekend I needed parking for a couple of days during the week. Street parking is free after six and before eight. Otherwise, it’s only two hour parking. I called on Monday to get a parking transponder and they took all my credit card information and then an hour later contacted me to tell me that they couldn’t deliver the transponder until Tues. On Tuesday they delivered it at 10:30am. We went out to try to use it & it didn’t work. We called back to let them know, and they said they would call us back with a resolution. By 5:30 pm I still hadn’t heard from anyone. I called back and let them know. They said they were still working on it. I told them that it’s almost 6 I won’t even need it anymore. They apologized. I told them that I better not be charged. They assured me that they wouldn’t charge me. We left early on Wed morning at 6AM & called them while we were on the road at 10AM & reminded them about the parking situation and told them not to charge us. Again, we were assured that we weren’t going to be charged. On Thanksgiving day, Thurs, they told us they were bringing a transponder to us. We told them we checked out the day before and told them they better not charge us. He assured us that we wouldn’t be charged. They charged us on Friday.

The property was VERY difficult to find, and we had difficulty accessing our parking area. I still have no idea where we actually stayed, maybe Portside or Northeast Suites?, but where we stayed had an address of 50 Lewis Street, for which the entrance is actually located on Marshall Street. You can see how it was confusing. After I spoke with customer service to get the correct address, I was never able to reach a person by phone again. The concierge was helpful once we found our location and helped with our parking issue (the key fob did not open the garage door). We had towels for 3 people, although we had a booking for 4 people. The amenities (pool, game room) listed for the property are split between multiple buildings, and there is no way to know how to find or access them without asking for help. Other than lack of information, which was very frustrating, the room itself was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen and dining area, and I was glad they provided some basic housekeeping things like dish soap and paper towels, but overlooked hand soap. On the plus side, there is a fabulous market next door on the ground floor, and the T stop is less than 2 minutes walk away. The location on the East Boston waterfront has a spectacular view of the city both day and night.
