A very pleasant stay, staff were very friendly & the food was excellent. lovely bar area & nice quiet rooms of good size. Overall a good experience, just 2 little niggles. The restaurant could have a black pepper mill as a choice, & the room TV's could be slightly larger. My compliments though.

Tradition English Pub, Good selection of Drinks and Food. The rooms are not new, as you would expect in a building of this age, but comfortable and clean. Staff and Landlord very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The Bar / Lounge is traditional English countryside decor, spacious and comfortable. This is a yearly trip for me, so I will definitely be staying here next year.

Stayed here one night to visit Lincs Aviation Heritage Centre, which is really close by Great friendly pub. food was great wth generous portions (Steak & Ale pie highly recommended!) Breakfast was great with local produce. Very friendly service and good mid week atmosphere Room was very good size with nice seating area as well as large bed and desk great location

Staff were very helpful and attentive. Good range of beer. I enjoyed the food. But there was too much quantity. So I had to leave some, which feels wasteful.

Lovely Pub serving great food - friendly staff very eager to help. Triple glazed rooms so very quiet at night. Breakfast was fantastic

Has potential to be better!
This has the potential to be so much better. It needs some money spending on it and looks as though it was lovely ‘back in the day’. The staff are friendly & helpful, the people running it are pleasant enough. I’m guessing it’s brewery owned & they don’t want to spend money on it? Also, the locals seem to be happy with it. Menu very standard pub with limited vegetarian options. Food was in generous portions but was very ‘greasy cafe style’. The bathroom was extremely cold due to having no form of heating in, the room was big with 1 radiator which was insufficient for the size of the room. It needs painting, new carpet & updating a little. The sash windows could do with a vacuum to get the dead bugs out and the silicon around the shower block could do with redoing to get rid of thick black mould. 1 sachet of normal coffee with 6 decaf! It was tidy, but the bed was uncomfortable & I wasn’t very rested the next day. I feel it’s barely scraping at the 3 star ratings!

Super nice and friendly staff. Really quaint atmosphere. Though it was quiet when I was there. I would definitely stay here again with pleasure!

Excellent Traditional Pub accomodation
My second stay here. Generous sized rooms with good facilities. Decor a little dated but thats more down to the age and quirkyness of the building. Excellent food, beautifully cooked with large portions.

Friendly but noisy.
Rooms were a bit dated. Very noisy from the bar downstairs. Shower was excellent although in desperate need of a revamp. Breakfast was ok. Overall it served the purpose I wanted it to.

Good food, bad room, noisy locals
Rooms above the local pub. Pub food and beers excellent, room wasn’t clean and quite a lot of flies live here too. Bar and bedrooms seem to have an issue with flies, bedroom windows in need of a good clean. Locals seem to stay up late drinking so not a quiet nights sleep either.

Stayed one night whilst visiting Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, which is a 5 minute drive away. Room was basic but very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities, complimentary water and biscuits. The Landlord and staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Very knowledgeable about the area so useful tips on things to do and see. The food is amazing, fresh, well presented and beautifully cooked, just make sure you are hungry the portions are huge. We would stay here again if in the area.

Peaceful stay in a lovely old building. Huge cooked breakfast made with quality ingredients & plenty of choice. The staff were warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us.Will definitely recommend.

Excellent place to stay!
I stayed in this hotel for two nights when I was on a business trip. I must say that everything in the hotel was perfect; rooms, staff and food. I will definitely stay there again. The only thing could be its location. It is the only property in the area and so a bit quite and isolated; still I will say that it is worth staying there. Full marks from me!

Really comfortable and friendly place to stay
We were warmly welcomed on arrival. Room was spacious, comfortable and warm. The food was excellent both the evening meal (I had an excellent swordfish steak, my wife had a fabulous homemade steak& ale pie) and breakfast the following morning (kippers for me, full English for my wife). The landlord, landlady and all the staff were very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. I would strongly recommend this as a place to stay

Hotel Break
Although isolated just outside the pretty village of Revesby, we could not fault the service and friendliness of all the staff. The room was clean and did not lack for a thing. The food was fantastic well worth eating here.

Friendly staff, good location and great food.
Celebrated my Husbands Taxi Ride at the Aviation Centre and wanted to stay over the same night. So glad we booked the Red Lion, the staff and Owners were really friendly, food was plentiful and delicious. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, if we visit the Aviation Centre again we will certainly stay here.

Good for visit to Lincolnshire's Aviation museum
The home of the Paton Bros Lancaster bomber and other aircraft is merely 4 minutes down the road while 12minutes in the opposite direction is the home to the Battle of Britain flight with viewing Mon to Fri only. The Aviation museum however is open 6 days a week not Sat. The Red Lion is owner Managed so service is excellent. They parked my motorcycle at the back steps and locked the gates great for security and ease of access with luggage. The breakfast was cooked by the boss who then joined his guests for an informal chat about the hotel and local area . Dinner was also moderately priced and quite tasty.Its not on a major road but serves those two attraction well and reaching it showed off some lovely countryside just have faith in your GPS that you will reach it.

A friendly place to say with loads to eat
The Red Lion is a friendly local pub/hotel and you are made to welcome as soon as you walk through the door. The food is excellent and the helpings more than generous, you will not need to eat in between meals! It is set in a beautiful part of Lincolnshire.

Herzlich Willkommen - immer wieder gerne!
Nette Leute, verschiedene landestypische Biere, gutes Essen und ein sehr gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück, was wir nicht geschafft haben. Am Abend hatte man uns die Empfehlung gegeben unsere Harley's in den Hinterhof zu platzieren. Wirklich nette Leute, super, immer wieder gerne. DANKE/Thank you
