“We were a family of 3 and stayed in the bigger apartment. It was a wonderful, everything was brand new and clean, the pull out couch was made up for the night for my son, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, but yet very centrally located area in Riga. There are a few very good restaurants just around the corners from the aparthotel, better than the famed Milda Restaurant ( don’t waste your time going there). Overall, I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Carillon.”
“A beautiful boutique hotel with a distinctive historical character. The former U.S. Embassy setting gives the property a fascinating sense of history, including its connection with JFK. The hotel itself is elegant, intimate, and exceptionally well appointed. Its location in Riga’s refined embassy quarter is excellent, surrounded by handsome architecture and quiet, leafy streets. A major highlight is the superb Michelin-recognized JOHN restaurant on the premises, making the entire experience...
“All great, except the bed was so wide we had to clamber on from the end, no room to enter from the side. Good location, close to the Old Town, though still reasonably quiet.
Rooms clean, staff very helpful.”
“One of the best hotel experience I've had in a while. The location of the hotel is a huge plus, being so close to many important historic sites of beautiful Riga old town. Food is wonderful and the cigar bar is very classy. I didn't get a chance to experience their complementary spa service, but I plan on revisiting Grand Palace Hotel again.”
