Foot of the Mountain was a quaint motel that was a wonderful basecamp to visit Boulder. We visited for a recent football game, and the motel was only a 10 minute car ride from campus. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made sure that we were enjoying our stay. The quick hike up into Boulder Creek Path was scenic and simple, but filled with great interior views of the foothills.

Room was great, everything worked perfectly, nice location. Choose room 13. Best room IMO. The staff had great customer service.
-Hot tub is for the one Executive Suite which booked before I had a chance to get it,
but was unclear about the hot tub being for exclusive use only. The sauna is available for guests though.
The lady in the office was very kind and went above and beyond for breakfast and with service.
Will book again! Thank you for the hospitality!

I liked how close it was to the mountains and Boulder Creek, without being too far away from tourist destinations like Pearl St and the University. Plus, the sauna company behind the motel is very convenient.
