"It was a good price and a safe place to sleep. The lobby and the room both smelled very musty like extremely musty. Every time the AC came on it smelled like mildew. But it was doable and it was the best price in the area and all we needed was a few hours sleep which we got. Check-in was easy and everything worked"

"I stay here all the time when I come to visit. The rooms are generally clean but all the rooms need a deep clean to be honest. The beds sleep great! Breakfast is decent, there’s no hot food just pastries, bread, cereal and a waffle maker. The staff is courteous and polite. With all that being said I still recommend it anyone."

"We got there right at 10p and the lobby door was locked. There’s a sign that says to pick up the outdoor phone to call front desk but it did not work. We tried calling the phone number but it was out of service. We banged on the door and no one came. We were not able to check in or stay at this place. We had to scramble to find another hotel. It was horrible."

"The Wingate has gone downhill from our previous year's stay. To start, the elevator had a questionable aroma. The hallway carpets were dirty, stitched together, and had bleach stains. Coming into the room, the room itself was very presentable. Tip: Bring your own pillows, as these pillows are too small (they looked like couch decoration pillows). Also, you may want to bring your own mattress topper, as the beds were also hard. Also bring a fan because the AC was a wee bit temperamental. Moving into the bathroom, the toilet did not flush, the taps were affixed inappropriately, and the shower knob was Rubix-Cubeque. Finally bring cleaning supplies for your shower experience. BUT the breakfast was better than the bathroom situation, because they had sausage. Yum! Decent stay for one night only."

"I checked in well after the standard check-in time and found my room still very dirty, almost like it was recently used. There was visible dirt on the towels and the shower floor was wet. I found dead bugs throughout the room & when I moved the couch, I found fast food sauce packets & other trash behind the couch. The flooring throughout the entire building was buckling and missing in sections. Just a bad vibe in general with the whole place."
