My husband and I, with our 3yr old had such a lovely stay at Widbrook Barns. It's peaceful and cosy with a lovely big garden to run around in. Superb host and great range of breakfast options. We'll be staying again when we're up in the area.

Very friendly and helpful from greeting to goodbyes! Large clean room with numerous amenities. If it had been a little warmer, we would have loved sitting outside on little porch or in the garden. Good breakfast too!

Good place to stay just outside Bradford on Avon

An amazing stay
Everything about the place was amazing. We stayed in the lion room and we couldn’t believe how big the bathroom was, the photos do not show how much room there is. The little additions in the room like the cookies on the tea station and bottle opener were great, there wasn’t anything else we needed. The breakfast was 10/10, so much choice for eating and drinking. The grounds were stunning, very easy parking and plenty of room. Check in was very straight forward, being talked through the area/grounds was great (extra marks for being greeted by the dog) We will be coming back as soon as possible!

The room was fantastic which felt more like my own little barn conversion in a studio form. Breakfast and service were great, couldn't do enough for myself and so friendly. If looking to visit the area with all the great places like Bath and Kennet & Avon Canal on your doorstep. This is the place to stay and enjoy great accommodation, service, and breakfast.

Great stay minutes from Bradford on Avon and easy access to Bath. We took train in as recommended by Dick, the owner, and it was a great way to access Bath. The hop on hop off bus stops very close by the station. Overall the accomodation is wonderful, very large room(Secret Seven) with all the amenities, Dick is a fantastic and personable host. The outlook from your room is the garden square, very private and lots of wildlife, breakfast is excellent with many options and all cooked up by Dick. I am not sure that man sleeps but I highflying recommend the accomodation, it gives you the rural feel with extremely close access to a village. I am a dog lover, and like a lot of places over in the UK, they welcome dogs which I think is a fantastic way to operate. Thanks for our stay.

My daughter and I had a fantastic stay at Widbrook Barns, and we couldn't rate it any higher. The breakfasts in particular were a highlight! It was very convenient for getting the train to Bath as well as our trip to Longleat. We will definitely be back.

Owners Dick & Jane are fantastic hosts, the accommodation is fresh, clean and new and the breakfasts are legendary. By far the best accommodation experience we’ve had in many years.

Great property. Staff were wonderful, very helpful and served an excellent breakfast. We rented bikes at the property and explored the Kenit & Avon canal with access to the tow path a short distance from the property.

Had the most amazing stay at Widbrook Barns. We were greeted by Dick who made us feel very welcome and relaxed. My husband and I and daughter and her husband were staying here for the three nights as my son was getting married at a nearby property. The room my husband and I were in had an adjoining room where we could sit and chat with my daughter and her husband. Our bed and pillows were super comfy. Great shower with lots of hot water and good pressure. We’ll what can I say about breakfast! Firstly Kate was again so lovely and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The menu was extensive with ever y taste and every diet altered for. Three courses if you wish or just grab a coffee and toast. Best breakfast We’ve been offered. The theme around Widbrook relates to fifties and sixties childrens books with the rooms being named after these I.e. Billy Bunter, Famous Five etc. We would love to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book. The rooms are very reasonably priced and fantastic value for money. Thank you Widbrook for a wonderful stay which made celebrating our sins wedding even better.

This is a lovely property not far from Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge. The rooms we stayed in were well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage for clothing. The room was very clean and well maintained. There is a fridge and iron located in the shared kitchen area if needed and the breakfast was very nice and prepared to order. Around half hour from Longleat and with a number of other attractions nearby I can't fault this property

Great family getaway
Amazing service, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, and immaculately clean. Also a useful shared kitchenette with fridges, crockery and microwave - useful for packed lunch making or simple dinners. Some 3rd party websites suggest there is a tennis court, but there isn't. Although there is a large grassy area for the children to play.
