The room was very nice, clean and spacious and The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast was nice with a decent selection of cereal, fruit, continental, hot food, cakes and bread. I had a very good experience at this hotel. First of all, I must mention the amazing, warm, and friendly staff — this is what truly made the hotel feel special and allowed me to really enjoy my stay. At one point, my safe was stuck, and the kind and polite gentleman at the reception immediately found a solution and came to help me right away. The woman who checked me in was also very considerate. I explained to her that I was feeling cold and that I am sensitive to low temperatures, and she kindly brought me a heater. I really appreciated how supportive the staff were and how they always offered quick and effective solutions. Because of this, I can truly say that this is an amazing hotel And my room is good for solo and the food excellant

This is a great hotel and everything about it was great. Breakfast really good and kept topping it up. Walking distance everywhere. Tram station short stroll away. Beautiful hotel in the heart of Bratislava

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are lovely and the jacuzzi was such an amazing final touch. The check in staff were so nice and everything about our stay was perfect. Lovely buffet breakfast with great coffee. Couldn’t have asked for more. Location is perfect for exploring Bratislava and for accessing transport links. Truly a 5* service. The staff there need a special mention for their outstanding professionalism and kindness.

Nice hotel in a quiet location but near the centre

Nice clean room with very comfortable beds. We were facing the road but there was no traffic noise. Breakfast choice was extensive and all the staff were very friendly. It's just a short walk to the Old Town and I'd definitely use it again. The negatives: there was no bar in the evening and the restaurant isn't open in the evenings but the set meal price for lunch looked very good. There are other restaurants in the area which were good but when it's cold (we went for the Christmas markets) it would be nice to eat in the hotel. Small complaints though

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, which is conveniently located on a main road about a 15 minute walk from the central bus station (located in a large shopping mall) and a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction to Bratislava old town. Restaurants and shopping are nearby, as is a Leidl grocery store. The hotel has a nice breakfast and professional staff. The rooms have older decor but are very functional and include a refrigerator/mini bar, a safe, a heat lamp in the bathroom & good working climate control. A welcome drink is offered at check-in and the front desk is staffed all night long. Suggestions for improvements include a better gym with updated equipment, longer breakfast hours with almond milk or non-dairy items available, and softer/thicker cotton bed linens. Despite these minor items, we had a great time at this hotel and would recommend it. The restaurants nearby were wonderful (SOHO and Basilico).

Great place to stay

The hotel is very nice and breakfast was wonderful. Our bubbler /spa tub did not work or we just did not know how to use it and once in…kinda late to call for directions. When you walk outside of hotel … first impression is area a little sketchy… but we actually had no problems even walking our dogs…and few blocks away the town is fabulous! I give it 5 stars for kindness and breakfast lady who makes best hot chocolate 10 stars!

I had a great stay at Hotel Danubia Gate. It is great hotel in a very good position. It is near the old town. It is close to transport links. The hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was good. There was a good choice. Staff were helpful. The room was a single room and it was bigger than I thought it would be. It was very clean and had everything I needed.
