Beautiful modern home, large suite for four upstairs . The coffee could be stronger and some of breakfast could be fresher instead of frozen before microwaving.

The property and the room was very high class and extremely nice. However, the owner seemed to be very untrusting and skeptical of me and my girlfriend, and appeared to be very eager to be done with us.

The lounge could use some sprucing up on the outside. Needs a new roof, and power washed to get dirt and fungus off the siding and entrance canopy

This place is fabulous, everything is what you are looking for a quiet and cozy stay, host Herman is a great person to communicate. Liked the room and host very much, reminder me many years ago I stayed just few miles away by another warm host family for my unforgettable Christmas experience, thank you Bremen Indiana!

Ok place. owner wasn't too friendly.
It was an ok stay with a warm, clean room. The service wasn't to par as we didn't feel very welcome there. It felt as the innkeeper was hovering and we didn't feel free to move about as we were encouraged to do so at other BNB's. Minimal parking in a single line of cars. The pool wasn't offered as it suddenly had a leak. My wife wasn't offered any drink ( other than coffee ) for breakfast. The overall experience at this place is mediocre at best. We won't go back but it was a nice room. For the price, we feel service with a smile.
Very nice and roomy bathroom with shower, jet tub and double sink.
Nice two person jetted tub.
Nice king sized sleep number bed.
Electric fireplace that sets the mood.

This B&B was wonderful, it was beautifully decorated, very quiet. I can’t talk enough about the owner. He was very friendly and easy to work with. Overall our experience at this B& B was exceptional!

A little treasure in the country
My son, husband, and I absolutely loved the comfort, beauty, and incredible hospitality of this very special place! Though a little extra money, it is worth it! Very clean, very comfortable, excellent breakfast! And the pool was so refreshing! Homer was an excellent host, and so was Amber. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Amish Country getaway!
Lovely room with a fabulous jacuzzi tub in your own private bathroom. Host was very accommodating! Location convenient to a couple small towns with restaurants and shops.

Clean room. Idyllic location in the country. Not far from ND using easy shortcut from our host. Great breakfast.

The Antique suite that I stayed in upon arrival looked very nice. However,during the 2 days I stayed there,there were flies in my room. Now in the summer I can understand to a degree. This was in the middle of November! There was body hair in the shower from previous occupant. If you’re looking for a secluded get away,this would be perfect. Nothing around at all. I stayed for a Notre Dame game and to tour the campus. Next time I’ll stay in an actual hotel not far from town. The places to eat in the surrounding area are fair at best. Netters was the best one I found to eat at. Check in time is from 4-6 pm and $35 fee for early check in. Another deterrent for me. Swimming pool is closed during the winter so don’t plan on swimming if you go during the colder months! This place was less than appealing to me and I’d recommend staying in a chain hotel before staying at this business.

GREAT B&B
The breakfast were Delicious. Amber is a GREAT cook. Homer was an excellent host. He made homemade apple pie and served it to us after we were back after a long day of exploring. We will definitely stay there again. The home is beautifully. The Green Room was so comfortable. Next time we want to stay in the King Room...Absolutely gorgeous. Homer does all the work himself.

This B & B is beautifully decorated, quiet, and well-maintained. The host, Homer, was very helpful, welcoming and cooks a hearty breakfast. The property is in a very rural setting, so if you are looking for more action, this is not your place. However, remarkably, we were able to get back and forth to our parking lot near Eddy Commons for the ND game in about a half hour, even after a night game, and hit NO traffic either way.

Notre Dame weekend
We had an awesome weekend and would recommend a stay here. Homer made sure that all of our needs were met and is a very kind man.

Rural and peaceful
Property was in rural farming area, which was peaceful and pretty. The inn was well-kept and the room was well-equipped and very comfortable. Service was indifferent, at best. The breakfast was substandard, given the price of the room.

Great for visiting Notre Dame
We stayed here in order to attend our granddaughter's graduation at Notre Dame. South Bend was an easy drive, especially after our host, Homer, gave us directions. The breakfasts were great, and the bed comfortable. We stayed in the Green Room, which had a private bathroom across the hall. All the other rooms have a bath in the rooms. I would rate this an inconvenience especially if you have to get up and go to the bathroom at night. Although we did not use it, there was a nice indoor pool, and a patio. Homer was a great host.

Great place Great Host (Homer)
Homer provide a great place to stay. He also gave suggestions on the area and was a great help, giving directions on best way to get to places. The breakfast that were prepared were wonderful. If you are in the area and Homer has an opening then I would book again in a heartbeat.

Stayed here for a ND home game. Wonderful host and hostess. Reasonably priced. Great breakfast. Room was more than I expected, and make for a great sisters weekend.

middle of farm land but low populated towns
Brenda is very knowledgeable about area and events. She makes a very nice breakfast but you have to eat @ 9am or not at all. She has a "fee" that if you have someone meet you at the B&B with a car then you are charged $40.

We are happy you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes, a hot gourmet breakfast is served at 9 AM, but I always mention at check-in, if you want to sleep in, just let me know the night before. Boxes of cereal and granola bars are available in the dining room 24/7 in case you missed the 9 AM breakfast. We do not charge $40 if someone picks you up at the B&B. There is a charge if non-guests wants to use the indoor swimming pool or pool room. We rent the pool room out to non-guests for special events like kids birthday parties, family reunions etc. We are in a small Amish community on two acres, but close to major cities and highways. Hope to see these folks again in the near future.
