“I had a wonderful one night stay at the Coach Inn while passing through. The facilities at the inn are great and I would thoroughly recommend it. One comment for consideration the bedroom window was screwed shut in my room no 9, the room gets full sun making it hot with no air so it would be a major benefit to be able to open it for some fresh air, my suggestion would be to fit some stops instead of it being screwed shut so it could open say 8" or so. “Unfortunately our stay was marred by the fact that the bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained the previous residents used sanitary products!!! The shower took 25 minutes to drain and, whilst we understand the logistics of old manor houses, if the plumbing is not up to standard then this should be at least mentioned on booking. “The Royal Oak Inn is situated in a lovely area. It was easy for us to park. On arrival which was somewhat late, there was no one to look after us. I got the attention of someone in the kitchen who alerted the manager. We were given our room key and on arrival in the room I noticed that there was quite a bit of hair in the sink and some in the bathtub as well.
